1. Activity localization might tell you what is necessary for a function, but not what is sufficient for that function.
2. Neurons use inhibition as well as excitation.
3. Limitations of imaging data: In general, when choosing your imaging technique one must decide between temporal resolution OR spatial resolution. There is a trade-off unfortunately that cannot be avoided by researchers right now.
Lastly, how does this study fit in with memory research?
Currently Microsoft phone numbers cannot be accessed by iPhones. This is to ensure quality of service and security. Please use your IE enabled phone instead. Thank you.
My professors often podcast, or make mp3's of the lecture. Let me tell you, if you thought the lecture was boring in person, wait till you here it over headphones.
Space research historically has been an enriching and profitable venture. However, NASA is a glutton who miss-spends money with bad contracting policies that encourage waste.
There is no reason that our nine planets should conform to the same standard as planets from other solar systems. Sure to be consistant, but there are other important factors. Like human history. This is our solar system, and that makes it different than any other solar system.
Two things: 1> Taxonomic classifications will never satisfy everyone, nor will they ever be precise enough to cover all cases. 2>Its sad that the news focuses so much on this non-issue. Its not important! There are other things much more important that need the airtime. 3>This reminds me of old snotty aristocrats who pride themselves on their extensive and obscure vocabulary because it distinguishes them from the common man. Sorry..I'm studying for my GRE's.. Words like Stygian.. I mean fuck you, if you know what that means. and lastly, 4>They will finally figure out that Pluto is not a planet, it s a dog.
Bull. You can have 90% of the combinations be at a certain power, and the remaining 10% of the possible combinations at a lower power. That way, there isn't super-powered combinations, but there are dumb combos--that only the brave or stupid employ.
Look.. I was merely saying that the people firebombing the researcher were most likely NOT conservatives. This is not to create the misconception that all liberals are firebombers. But, after looking at the parent I was replying to, it is apparent that I was meaning to reply to another thread, and got mixed up. In fact I was surprised I got modded up and then down for the comment because it seemed such a logical answer to the thread I meant to reply to. But hey, we all make mistakes.
We haven't invaded another country's laboratory yet, have we? Bush is more motivated when it comes to terrorism than in stopping science. It makes more sense to side with the scientist who suffers from terrorism, and use it as an example to attack liberal fundamentalism as a source of terrorism. Why would Bushy pass up an opportunity to attack liberals? eg. Don't vote for the terrorists, vote republican.
Interesting. In the United States, there are more searches per capita for Wii, than in Japan. The difference is even greater when searching for the PS3.
Source for parent is joystiq.com
That's: 25 000 Japanese yen = 212.51 U.S. dollars
The New York Times apparently broke an embargo and released the date and price early. Personally, I was still hoping for $150. Their mistake.
They already payed for the lecture when they payed for their classes.

It isn't attached to the planet! Its orbiting the planet.
Thanks I have an online dictionary too.
...Because if that diameter is used, then we have a whole lot more plants in this solar system...and that wouldn't be elegant nuf for astronomers.
