CoolWebSearch was a big part of the length of cleaning time. I ran 3 or 4 different removal tools, did 2 manual removal procedures and had to literally tear a registry key out of the registry by force to get the thing clean. This key had all the rights stripped out of it so that no user could automatically remove it. I had to go in manually and add admin group w/ full privelage to it in order to delete it.

On the topic of "alleged", once one is convicted of a crime, they are convicted. They may well have not commited the crime but they have been convicted. I believe this allows the alleged tag to be removed and at the very least, replaced with the convicted tag.

All technical arguments aside, This man pays for his bandwidth and has stated he doesn't want others using his bandwidth. Therefore, if others use it, they are stealing it from him. The cost may be negligible in terms of dollars and cents but in principle, it is still theft. The man in the van was using a service that did not belong to him. How can so many of you become so twisted as to not understand that it is wrong to use something that does not belong to you.

If you wish to let others use your bandwidth, that is your right but don't sit there and tell me that simply because bandwidth is not locked up that anyone is free to use it. That is as ridiculous as saying that because I leave my car unlocked, you have the right to joyride in it without asking me. You do not. Do not blame every one of us for that something simply because we claim a certain religious faith.

While we're at it...stop comparing Christianity to the 3rd Reich. Please realize that there is a vast difference between calling yourself Christian and actually being a Christian. Read the New Testament sometime...it will shock and amaze you at the amount of distortion there is out there of Christ's teachings. Compare Christ's teachings with Hitler's actions and you will see a vast difference. For example, Christ taught us to love those around us and to be forgiving. Hitler hated everyone who wasn't white.

You who call yourselves liberals and proclaim freedom for all religions, races and creeds, and you who say nothing should be censored and not to be biased against anyone...you show yourselves every day to be biased by your very words. If you really truly believe in that freedom, show it by your actions...stop hating people because of their faith. This does not mean you should stop speaking out against things you see as wrong in the government or elsewhere. What it DOES mean is that you should make your accusations against people, not against an entire religion.

Does anyone have a constitutional problem with this statement? I for one am forced to agree with the poster that in fact the Supreme Court's decisions have, in effect (if not in practice also) basically made laws. However, the Constitution clearly grants the power to make laws to congress.

I am disturbed by the idea that judges base their decisions in a case, not on laws themselves but on other judges decisions! This then leads other judges to rule on a case stretching the meaning of the original law. This then repeats until the original law itself is irrelevant and only interpretations of that law or "precedent" is meaningful to any court. Something is not "The law of the Land" simply because of a court ruling. I feel that the lines of separation of powers between the courts and congress have been eroded and that the courts in today's United States have the real power in government. The process of removing a corrupt judge is so difficult at most levels that it rarely happens and many judges that are elected run w/ no opposition so they cannot be removed by vote. Yet the court has the power to negate anything congress does on a whim and the courts use decisions to basically create laws or force a congress to do so. This to me is a complete overstepping of their original charter in the constitution.

The poster fails to realize that all biology texts already state the same thing on them on the inside.

The poster also fails to realize that the entire concept of "separation of church and state" isn't even written into the constitution. That phrase comes from 1 source...a letter written by Thomas Jefferson in response to a letter written to him by a pastor with concerns about the Bill of Rights in 1789. That pastor asked if the clause stating "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." The pastor was concerned that this clause could later be turned against religious people. Thomas Jefferson replied that he didn't feel that to be a problem since there was "...a wall of separation between church and state...". This separation existed to protect those who practice a religion from the government. Not to protect the government and any citizens from religion.

I feel that I would be remiss if I did not point this out. Go read the 2 letters, they are on historical record. Research the lives and backgrounds of the founding fathers. You'll be surprised at how high a percentage of them were religious.
