Yes there was. Lots of issues involved if the systems went down. I used to have the protocols in the attic someplace. I'll look up there but i haven't looked at them since i got my divorce I might just weep nostalgic. Sorry
Fusion ???? are you an idiot??? it's fission.... fusion is the sun boy... (tongue and cheek point taken and duly noted ) and i think it will properly shielded and contained
Damn... too dam short.... targeting references are often changed on a regular basis..... this is the hard part inertial platforms such as the *crap* i worked on takes specialized hardware to configure....
Very Good i just read some research on why container ships are now sailing at 10 knots rather than their usual 25. The research says that even some old sailing ships were faster. Everybody want's every else to drive a Prius or use solar but when ALL the costs from the front end to the back end are calculated I think most people would be surprised at the amount of wasted energy and hazardous waste people need to deal with in using these "green" products. http://envirostats.digitalcitizen.ca/2007/10/09/0175/ one of many links -- go do your own research.
What makes me get up in the morning is WORKING to get what i have.... although a recent divorce makes me think otherwise.... (Karma Dump) I WORK for what i want... need.... (corvettes non included)and i don't want some idiot as of a prez to tell me what i shouldn't have or not......
Maybe it's just me..... probably it is, but what ever happened to ID's successful implementation of the Doom/2 product line??? Get some free S9it and if you like what you see your addicted and buy the rest....... I used to be a full time gamer but due to this drm crap.... BF2142 to be exact I've stopped..... and i miss the gaming experience but not enough to put up with the likes of "Steam" and EA's idiot bean counters obsessed with the bottom line to the penny...
Karma --- dump..... yes it DID cost a lot of lives on both sides... the US didnt start it but i was always taught when you keep poking at the bear sooner or later it's going to bite a big chunk off of you......
I thought the spin rate telemetry data was relayed back just after re-entry -- or some where near or before...kinda link like pulling and saying i didn't really cum....
Actually this is a Mel Gibson Joke...... when asked while filming the movie "Braveheart" what he was wearing under his kilt.... he replied nothing other than your mothers lipstick.
Agreed
XP and Vista share almost the same kernel code...almost. Which all started here...
David Neil Cutler, Sr. (born March 13, 1942) is a noted American software engineer, designer and developer of several operating systems including the RSX-11M, VMS and VAXELN systems of Digital Equipment Corporation and Windows NT of Microsoft.
After that, all the MS bean counters and marketing people took over....such a shame... as i coded some drivers for Rockwell and their VMS systems. Cutler was one smart cookie and one hell of a team manager.

http://code.google.com/p/virtualagc/source/browse/trunk/Luminary099/LUNAR_LANDING_GUIDANCE_EQUATIONS.s?r=258
and yes some of my code is in there along with the equivalent of a few "goto's
Lots of bright people worked on this and in some circumstances a "goto" is required.
