I was in Germany a few years ago at a convention for new process's and items involved with manufacturing. The "vest" i believe was originally targeted (marketed) as some sort of life vest for oil rig crews. I dont know if that flew but all i can say is from a fall (too many local brews) off a table from about 3 feet the only things i hurt was my pride and rear end.
I have personally tried this item and can attest to its effectiveness.... i just wish they made an attachment for body part i actually landed on. ( i couldnt sit for 4 days)
Whoa bud i had to read every post to get to this gem. You hit the nail on the head. I am a developer and if i could get a package like VS for Linux I'd leave the Win world in a heartbeat.
Please somebody help us poor developers. And yes lest i hear crap i have and use Krylix for Linux.
I have found it not any where near VS with regards to useability. Just my 2 bits 0-1
I myself being a former Tech Manager up until a month ago found out the hard way. I WAS working 7 day weeks... filling in as a developer as needed and understanding the way the market is was trying my hardest to keep the IT group out of the "overhead" area to some degree and allowing our inhouse developers to farm out work in which we could bill. THis was done just to keep good people from leaving. Worked for a while but in the end all 11 of us including some dam fine coders were dumped and they brought in some kid to maintain 17 servers. From what i hear he has 250 workstations to support also.... I'm thinking that i was somewhat lucky as in retrospect it felt all the time as if i was trying to bail the Titanic with a paper cup. I hope they die a painful and protracted death. ( now time for my happy pill):-)
Forgive me if I'm wrong but the masses don't have any say... in the matter.... Isn't there a little something called the Constitution that has already set the guidelines?? or am i just smokin crack again...
I wonder of these bugs are related to the bugs on StarShip Troopers ??

After having composed a response to this obvious troll i've since erased it and decided to kick back with a cold one and let some other people respond to this bantha fodder. I'm getting to old to get worked up anymore even to respond to such lunacy. !!!!
Ya know it seems to me that jealousy of John's success at doing what we all would LIKE to be doing seems a prime motive for most of these comments posted on this topic.
