    Take a look at e4rat. It reorders the files loaded at startup to be sequentially on disk.

    There is a port of gcc available at http://mspgcc4.sourceforge.net/

    I recently used this to build a small led cube, worked like a charm.

    My main peeve with vim is when it goes into "recording mode" or whatever that nonsense is, when I try to ":q" and hit something by mistake and the screen splits. I still don't know what I did wrong.

    You entered q: which open the command line window.

    And that vim always wants to go back to the last place in the file you edited, even if you edited the file ten years ago and really want to start at the top. The only way I found around that one is to make the .viminfo file chmod 000 so it can't save status.

    There is a autocommand defined for this by default. Do a au! vimrcEx BufReadPost to disable it.

    For my gf i configured noscript to allow all script as default, but to forbid java/flash//, so it essentially acts as flashblock but for java and too. And Yes, html5 video doen't require scripting, but NoScript can block them anyway.

    The reason people do this is is to stop you from right clicking on the image and saving it.

    I use ext3 on my portable usb harddrive. Works fine in windows using FS Driver.

    (And yes, I know you can also use ^[, but that's pretty useless on most non-american keyboards. On my keyboard, that's ctrl-alt-8.)
    You can also hit ctrl-c. Much nicer than ^[.

    Since you use ÅÄÖ i presume you are swedish. Have you tried the svorak keybord layout?

    Do you know if it's any good?
