This company produces one of the hardest spyware / adware program to get rid off (Save and Weathercast) I've spen days fixing computer with there software installed. Can I send them a bill for all the trouble they have cost my company. People click the EULA but give them an option to uninstall the software and not hijack the machine.
I love calling for help or with a problem and having to call back ten time until I can find someone that speakes "american english".
You know what the big thing now is... setting the volumn really low on there phones so you can't hear then and have to hang up.
i don't know about any IT people around here but the biggest problem that I've been facing is getting back control of Hi-jacked computers. The tools out there to fix the problem just don't cut it
3000 search bars, start page hijacking, related pop-ups, malware, programs that just wont un-install. Its bad enough that they install in the background but there should be a "law" to make programs uninstall-able. Also make them from hiding there presence.
If Alien were trying to communicate with use why wouldn't they use radio/tv signals that would get out attention. If there technology was great enough to detect our presence why would they want to contact us. Are humans trying to contact and communicate with deep sea fish in the atlantic? When you were in school did you talk and hang out with the dumb kids. No cause there was no reason to communicate.
Doesn't anyone know that the FCC is not on the public's side anymore. They even stopped regulating cable companies in 1999. I sent a letter complaining to the FCC about Comcast cable charging twice for channels when you purchase there digital package. You still have to pay for the standard package which have an overlap of 97 channels that your paying twice for.
Do a google search to see who is in charge of the FCC and you'll get my point.
I just filed a patent for having your computer turn on by pressing the power button. This is breakthru technology and I can't wait to start collecting money:-)
They made something similar to this and its called a Playstation. or PS2, Gamecube. For the price of a PC's video card you can have a great gaming system. That will always work and wont need upgrading.
I have almost 500 cd's that I have bought beign a hudge music fan. To tell you the truth I have not bought a CD in two years cause there is nothing new worth buying.
The RIAA is turning to SCO tatics as there buisness.. sue sue sue instead of good music good music good music.
Just my two cents.. P.S. I have bought around 50 DVD's in the last year alone.
I better stop using my Linux kernel know that I know the truth. We should all write a declaration of Independence from SCO now that they are taxes us without representation.

My next machine will be a mac. I can't wait to be able to start using my computer instead of it using me. Think how much time we waste in our life with updates, patches, reading EULA's. ok I'll think its work the extra $500 it takes to get mac.
I did a lot of research before I bought the 1100. The thing that I like about it was that you could use the old Rocket Librarian to convert HTML and TXT files to RB files. Then use the new software to upload it to the device. I have found enough software to convert anything to HTML so hense going to RB format is a cake. I have over 1000 books in my eBook library most beign from Gutenberg. As for why you would buy a Palm or similar. The Gemstar models feel more like a real book, with buttons placed for scrolling and it keeps track of your book marks. So any way if you can find one for under $100 its well worth it.
Well let you look under the hood but you can't drive the car anymore. Microsoft mentality at is finest.
Could someone please post the source to windows 2000 or XP so I can put it on a t-shirt.
According to there web site a professial typist that does 120 words a minute will do 50-60 after a few hours of learning. Seem likes a step back to me.
As an American I honestly felt safer under Clinton then Bush. The first year of Bush presidency was to over turn all the laws the Clinton passed (enviromental, economical, criminal, ect.) The poeple of this country need to walk to washington and rip of the constitution cause it isn't beign followed anymore. Our country needs to close it borders and stop medeling in foriegn affairs, (IE Somalia, Bosnia, Chili) Let be Americans first and help our selfs first. How many people would 300 billion put to college, or pay for health care. WE need to WAKE UP.
Send him back al our junk mail. I heard a neat idea long ago about junk mail. If they are pre-stamped just send them back with false information. HahahahhHHah

I have to say that this is the best Linux distro that I have used. KDE is getting great and love hearing new releases of each of these.
How hard is it to write voting software. I could write PHP in 2 minutes that would run of a MySQL DB.

Seems like everytime MSN post a artical on its Tech section Slashdot posts it a few hours later.
