But it seems to me that we really don't agonize over $1 apps. It's installing the free one that we're worried are in-app money sinks or simply crap for free.
When it comes to the $1 crap apps, we resort to "you get what you pay for", but when it's free and it's crap we're more likely to be pissy about it.
That would be what, a SiN skinned HL2 multiplayer mod at best?
So far as I can tell, all multiplayer FPS mods are merely visual themes ontop of the engine with the same old punks, whiny brats and hard cases one has to deal with in them all. At least with a story line, even if it is 'light', it's an actual story and not just someone else yelling through the voice line about how they're gonna blah blah...
And even then it doesn't allow some that are... well... allowed...
Plus, some popups, such as those launched via a bookmark are seen as the locally opened tab (whatever site that might be)...
I've uninstalled it. Normall popup settings and Adblock do fine for the most part. I'll check again once they've worked thro some of the bugs...
The first and fully accepted meaning of deprecate is "to express disapproval of." But the word has steadily encroached on the meaning of depreciate. It is now used, almost to the exclusion of depreciate, in the sense "to belittle or mildly disparage,".
