    Linux Netwrox dragged it's own company in to the mud when it got involved with the Canopy Group.

    How many of the linux boxes from the linux networx install does the Canopy Group via SCO want licenses for?

    Has Linux Networx spoken out against the actions of SCO? Redhat, SUSE, Cyber Knights in AU etc.. have. I didn't see anything coming from Linux Networx, but I could have missed it.

    The News report is pretty new, so Linux Networx may come out against SCO monday... I guess we will just have to wait and see.

    The new lesson of the day is if you do business with anyone funded by the canopy company you risk being sued by other members of the canopy group.

    You still have to use PPC hardware, and you can buy yellowdog ie http://www.yellowdoglinux.com/ and run osX without buying a mac, amiga have a computer as well... sorry no x86, but it can be done.

    With MOL (mac on linux) you can run imove and idvd it works great and it runs in linux! It doesn't run on X86 though, LOL and you still need to buy a mac to use OS X (legally)

If they feel that people who can't afford 1 million dollars to watch it are the scum of the earth and don't want them to watch it, the people who can't afford 1 million dollars should not be able to watch it. It's their property and they alone should decide how it is used. Regardless of how you feel about it.

    I like this one. SCO UNIX(R) is backed by a single, experienced vendor. They were a Linux vendor, how well are they "backing" what they have sold in the past?

    Wrong. You don't have to pay a private firm for reasonable access to the law. You can go out on your own and compile a massive database in your spare time and do it for free. If you don't know how to do it or don't have the time pay someone else.

    They are the only ones doing it. They provide a valuable service, people are willing to pay for because it's cheaper to pay them than to do what they do in house.

    You know

    1.Compile massive database
    2.Sell access to database
    3.Profit!!!

    New York Times have about their op-ed contributors that is not available to the public, Social Security Numbers which along with everything else in the database could be used for ID theft!

    If you don't think it's that major why don't you post your date of birth, SSN, address and phone number. And remember you're suppressing society if you don't!
