I think its a bit wrong to judge no 2 as an all out action movie.. even if it is because just as with LOTR.. it really needs to be seen as a whole..when its done.. so.. its an important chapter in the book.. Probably the game i've been most addicted to ever is Sim City 2000..i played probably like 5-15 hours a day for over a year.. no game before or since has been so long lasting.. I never could really understand SimCity until i played the SNES version of the original SimCity and the tutorials just hit it for me then..Secondly i'd say the MYST games.. especially no 1.. had a profoud effect.. every game i played of the adventure type since has just been measured up to that one as far as atmosphere goes..
And as far as point and click adventures with a bit more.. life to it than just pretty gorgeous atmospheric pictures it has to be the original Maniac Mansion on C64!
Also the Kyrandia series.. just so great.. I still play them occasionally. I curse westwood for dropping the series.. CURSE YOU.. may C&C go broke..!
As far as FPS games I'm so sick of the genre i auto-puke whenever i hear anyone mention doom or any of its like.. its old.. outdated and crap..even if it LOOKS gorgeously gory..

Ok this is just utter proof that microsofts reality is completely disconnected from the REAL world.. Ppl are just so used to microsoftware bugging up that only the newest of newbies can even be bothered wasting time calling microsoft on it.. ppl are just SO used to it that they accept that if they choose to use microsoft.. then it will occasionally crash without any logical reason.. secondly WHEN they get problem.. they rather call the hardware stores/manufactures for help on driverupdates and ways for them to get help to get around windows problems because they are simply SO USED to microsoft fucking up and not bothering fix that they just totally disregard the chance that microsoft would ever bother to give a fuck about them as a customer with problems.. and they're absolutely right! Unless ur a multimillion/billion corporate microsoft customer the chance of them lissnin to ya is below nonexistant.. and most corporations of that size already have inventive and smart sysadmins that have the knowledge that windows WILL be buggy and unhelpful that they have gotten used to either finding a workaround or looking at more helpful sources.. its only in the very end of the most extreme issues they cant find any help for anywhere else that anyone but the most complete moron would try and ask microsoft for help..

over the 3 years or so ive SMS'd heh hardly ever have I experienced sms's that hasnt gotten to where they were supposed to.. the only times it has happened has been at special occasions like a few hours before and after newyears when theres extreme amounts of traffic..or when theres been any net problems wich has happened like twice so.. id say its more like 0.010% that get lost.. prolly less.. but it ofcourse depends on the operators and the coverage and their capacity..
