hogwash. if you're going to edit out comercials with a video editor, you're going to see them anyway. plus, if you want to go to such lengths to not view comercials, you're not going to buy anyway, and will probably associate the comercials you would see with a negative feeling.
you were the one who tried to sell the ideia that a dictionary is authorative on anything other than spelling. not to mention the ideia that the european definition must be wrong, even though our political history and a large number of political parties say otherwise and are consistent in their defence of socialism.
i don't think socialism means what you think it means. the closer to socialism we get is sweden, norway and finland, not fascist regimes desguised as a people's revolution.
There are very good reasons for not using Microsoft. They are, after all, a convicted monopoly who's business practices are widely regarded as prejudicial to the whole market. And let us not forget that reported abuses are much larger then the small stuff they we're convicted for. Not only they hurt every computer user by destroying competition in illegal way, they have no qualms in disrespecting their users either. From crappy alphas released as finished products, to crappy/overdue/broken patches, to unmaitanable and misterious data formats who make sure you'll keep coming back for the next fix.
Now, Microsoft has never been known for good products, they're motto has always been "good enough" since the beggining. Good enough to fool you is my opinion, YMMV.
he's probably complaining because the demo doesn't have one. it was obvious for anyone who played war3, though. there are other keys to be found as well
i love your posts for a while now, but stop bitching. noone's going to change slashdot and it pains me to see someone nice, inteligent and informed waste time with it.
that would be The Gathering and After Forever, actually...
and i was waiting for the "and then... they died" or something. wow. i'm happy for them, sad for me :P

yeah, because the American definition that different is bad is a good thing to go by.
frankly, i don't agree with you either, no matter what some (American, and thus biased) dictionary has to say about it.
i don't think socialism means what you think it means.

and yet... people who legitimaly buy StarForce protected games regularly get screwed when their hardware is somewhat different then expected.

remember 911? that's lesson number 1.
most people are dicks. americans, british, black, white, yellow, whatever.
especially women...
yeah, i wonder why Microsoft would be interested in doing that...

what did you think Microsoft Tax meant?
Tom Cruise doesn't believe in it. He will say whatever gets him loads of money and slaves, though.
so do i, but software patents are not patents, they are ideia monopolies.
and you shouldn't patent a mathematical application anyway

very funny either way.
if you want to play BG1, use BGTutu, which lets you use BG2's superior engine to play the first with minor quirks.
one google link
