    Not really, I've sat in a room completely full of C02 (you can't see the other side of the room) for >1 hour...

    You wrote C02, (pronounced See-Zero-Two) designating no carbon and two oxeygen. You should have put CO2.

    Kinda scary when you think about it, eh?

    There are some in state laws, but that does not stop the traveling carnivals from doing whatever they want.

    If you live anywhere near cedar point (near=within 4hrs drive) it is big, there is a lot to do, and they have an excellent record where saftey is concerned.

    The same problems exists with most of the dell computers that I have worked with. IANA anti-dell person, but the powersupplies in their computers are loud as hell. Especially the newer models, my parents 8100 is about 5 times as loud as their old 200mhz system.

    Personally, one of my favorite games was also the easiest to put a no-cd crack onto. The original Jedi-Knight: Dark Forces II had a file on the disc (about 1 or 2k) that when copied to the folder where the game was, no cd was required. It was quite nice because at that time when I played it, I did not have a burner, but I had a 10base-T network. Install the game on the computers, copy the no-cd file, and Voila! Network game, with faster loads, less hassle, and only 1 cd for 3 computers.

    Has anyone else had any similar experiences with games like Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II?

    FYI: Sped is a shortened form of "Special Ed."

    Ok, so you beat me, but back in the day when i was forced to use AoHell, after messing with modem settings (we could never connect above 28.8k) I managed to get us a record speed. Record low, to be precise. A whopping 9600bps!

    There is one of these devices near my house. Although it does not give tickets still ellicits a Pavlovian response. Going more than 5 milez per hour over the speed limit, triggers a siren noise, and a "strobe" light until you decrease speed back to the psudo-legal range (Max MPH+5).

    For the first few weeks of it being there, brake lights were flashing like none other (people tend to go very fast in this area), but now about 4 months later, the speeds in the area are back to the legal (and slow) speeds.

    Because as we have seen in the past, biometrics are easy (relatively, but only with proper tools) to overcome. Overcome fingerprint scan with gellatin, any retinal or facial scan with a high quality digital image. IMHO Passwords (at this point in time) are the best type of security.

    They do that at my local lib. Except that it is not second hand CD's (yup, brand spanking new) and you get them for two weeks with unlimited refunds. I know a guy who went to the library, checked out the max (15 @ a time, I think) took them home, ripped them, then burned to mp3 cd. So what should they do now, sue the libraries?
