Have 2 different slots... maybe even "form factor" - put the mag stripe in hte middle of the card, and have a reader that has read heads at both locations. Just like SSH if you allow both password and key based authentication...
Oh, you mean the creator can do whatever, but whoever obtains a copy under the terms of the license (GPL in this case) are bound to follow the terms of the license?
True, and there was a bot for classic Quake (or maybe Q2) that instead of having to be given routes would track where players moved and use those for its routes around the maps.
The real price of OS X is known - its about $130. You can walk into an Apple store and buy a copy off the shelf...
I think what would be more interesting is after he got his $40 back (sorry, dunno how to do euros or pounds on my keyboard - i'm american) is to go in the next day and try to buy a copy for that price.
Wait 40 years.....The basic trend for classic cars is as a group gets to be about 50 years old or so, they finally have the $ to get the car that they always dreamed of, which is typically whatever was brand new and hot when they were in their early teens.
I've got some P3-500 machines with 384mb of ram - they are starting to get sluggish when being used as a ubuntu/gnome/firefox based kiosk... should I complain?
You already can, if you have just minor technical skill. Simply, the ability and willingness to explore menu options, figure out how to actually *use* the app, and make great documentation.
Nope - I tell 'em there are hundreds or thousands of text editors for Linux - I prefer joe, they may like vi/vim, nano, emacs, kate, gedit, etc - BUT - vi/vim is on just about any *nix, so they need to at least know how to open, make minor changes, save, quit, quit w/o saving, etc.
I teach it in my Linux class since it is so ubiquitous... some times, it is the only editor you'll have access to. So I do a survival mode training w/ it...
Only if your case is in the same circuit that the original case w/ ruling was.
Otherwise, you have to present your evidence, etc. When 2 circuits in a state have differing opinions, some lucky bastard gets to go to the state supreme court and present evidence there, etc. And then the state supreme court makes a ruling. Multiple state supreme courts make a ruling? Goes to district court. Multiple districts? The SCOTUS.
IANAL, but this is how it was 'splained to me by a lawyer.
Where a guy working for some TLA (three letter agency) was working out of a 'net cafe using a custom boot CD/DVD. The software on it would somehow figure out that there was someone else that could see his screen - gaze tracking, hax0ring the security cam in the establishment, etc - and throw up all sorts of porn. So to the waitress, etc. it seemed he was just a run of the mill perv...
Well, I'd happily give up my 6v electrical system for a 12v one:) Sure would be nice if they used galvanized steel in the 50s and 60s too, but I can understand...
German copyright for the 356 workshop manual expired years ago, so there are plenty of ways to get a xerox copy. Joe Leoni makes excellent colored and laminated electrical diagrams for each model of the 356, and there are lots of other good mechanical manuals and howto videos available as well (Elfrink's, Harry Pellow - the mechanic behind The Maestro from Jerry Seinfeld - and others...)
But yeah, for those new fangled Porsches with 12v electricals and 6 cylidners, there is a lack.
Also, until just after 356 production stopped, the premier Porsche race cars were the same cars that were sold for street use. I've got a few old ads out of period car magazines, one shows a 356sc at a stop sign "We produce a race car so you can enjoy your drive to work".
Unfortunately after the Carreras (the real 4 cylinder air cooled ones) the last street legal Porsche race car was the 904...

Of course they are silly...
But the real question is, can you call 'em up today and order a XP license for the same $65?

Flatness of hte head, lack of teeth, big floppy ears... short stature helps too.
Train plus big heavy lifting helicopter (think Chinook or similar) for "last mile". Or to make OP happy, a dirigible.

Only if a thief didn't steal your wallet and phone at the same time....
Unless they are very old, and power use would be better spent running fewer nodes with more rendering oomph.
FAL fanatics as well... mmm... nice crisp waffle, with a nice Browning G series FAL... I can do the waffle, can't afford the FAL. :(
Dragon Magazine had a cartoon bit about this ... apparently they weren't even allowed to use the word "ring" anymore...
"Hey, someone get the phone - its been circular metal band-ing off the hook!"

I think Windstream does since I've noticed it at friends houses. But at home I run a caching-only DNS server, so I never notice it...

...as a citizen I've been "deeply concerned" by the US Court system's "blatant disregard" for our rights.
There, fixed that for ya - just 6 words too many....
..... and the old priest looked at the original copy, and came out crying.
When asked why, he looked at the young novice and said "the word is CELEBRATE not CELIBATE"
VW bug. Of course, the Porsche 356 engine was essentially a balanced and blue printed bug engine with tighter tolerances.

The classic Porsche is a rear engined and air cooled.
