Someone had posted this on another flash drive story here but it basically went that if you reserved 10% or so of the drive simply to keep rotating blocks it would last as long as a hard disk, more or less.
I believe you would be able to do that, however then you take on the liability of screwing up peoples machines even more or causing some other unforseen problem.
What part of our militia is well regulated in your eyes then? Your code reference states there can be an unorganized and organized militia however the 2nd amendment states a well regulated militia which I don't believe most current gun owners are a part of.
It might add a little more insight into Bobby McNamara and the reasons he made the decisions he did. I'm not saying he was perfect but he was far less an idiot than Bush.
I have this funny feeling that engineers living in China do not have the same access to open thought as engineers do in America and that will be their downfall. I would almost liken it to one guy living in a cell and the other living in a nice house; the guy in the nice house is probably going to be more comfortable and creative vs. the guy living in the cell. I just don't think the communist model works as well for cutting edge technology but I don't know for sure YMMV.
First, your girlfriend can use her cell phone to call a cab, friend, or anyone else she can reach, her best bet being a tow truck. It's not like it's life threatening and if it is, what are you going to do? Administer CPR from the theater? No, she'd call 911.
And in the case of the mother defense you probably shouldn't be in the movies if she is in that critical of a condition.
Second, in the case of people using the bathroom, that's biology and not something subject to turning off.
$350 for the system and $50-60 games is simply too expensive for the casual gamer.
What new systems are going to sell below that on launch? And I seem to remember paying upwards of $75 for Sega Genesis games, I don't think $50 or $60 is unreasonable.
A modded hybrid car is almost a non-entity when it comes to what is driving market forces. Not to say that they are a bad thing, they aren't. I'm just saying that it's hard for me to believe that oil companies aren't doing anything other than gouging consumers at the moment. That said I just bought a huge gas guzzler because I believe this will be my last chance to drive an American V8. I don't believe gas prices are the cause of SUV sales decline, I think it's more the fact that people are looking at them as tall station wagons. I could be wrong, but big engines don't seem to be dropping out of style from what I've noticed.
The only thing that really bothered me about that game was the endless series of random fights. I remember that it took forever to get anywhere because fight after fight would happen and if you got lost you had another long chain of fights to get back to point A.
I seem to remember the battles happened on a blue grid in the Genesis version. But it has been a while since I played it. Never played the PS2 version.
I don't know. If they keep updating Everquest with more modern graphics, etc., it might just live up to its name. I've come back after a 3 year hiatus and am enjoying the game again.
Yeah I paid $75 for Phantasy Star II on the Sega Genesis way back when. I remember thinking I got hosed after playing it though, but you couldn't take it back after it had been opened. Much chore money down the drain...
Do they really need a contest to keep nerds a pasty white/translucent color? It's not like summer was going to get anyone out of the basement. ;)

Except it wasn't wombat...
Might be off topic but it sounds good and I think I'm going to try it.

Actual first posts get marked as redundant and this doesn't?

I sure hope whatever pop you put that router into isn't critical to customers as you are going to be writing SLA credits out the yin-yang if it is.

I think verizionfios.com has lines up to 30Mbps and the entry level 15Mbps ones are like $50 bucks.
