  1. Last one.. on Where Are The Videogame Soundtracks? · · Score: 1

The last one I remember that actually had a seperate CD for the soundtrack (that was labeled "soundtrack" and worked accordingly) was Command & Conquer, the collectors edition one.

  6. Re:Hindsight on Apple, Scully, And Intel vs. Motorola · · Score: 1

I agree, Apple has done a good thing in sticking with the PPC architecture (no thanks to moves and 'issues' with Motorola, but IBM seems to be getting things kicking again). Besides, didn't Apple kick Sculley out?

Apple has been able to maintain a seperate and focused market (now becoming a bit less-focused, but not to the point of a Sun-like mess) quite successfully and with moves like the G5, there don't seem to be any push for them to exert time and effort in changing architectures and trying to dip themselves into a strange and new world.

I wrote (rather naive) spiel on this here, which pretty much sums up why I think switching is a stupid idea.

That means they have every right to install and run an application that removes IE, or, at least, the browser functionality.

That's one instance where I wouldn't be opposed to it.

  11. What about Windows? on Company Files Motion to Stop IE Distribution · · Score: 1

Since IE is part of windows and they are wanting to stop distribution of IE, wouldn't that also mean a stop to the ditribution of Windows until the patch is out and all versions are fixed.

Hell, that could mean a stop to most of their software as IE is usually a requirement for it to run (and its soooo nice of them to include it on the CD for us).

It's good to see more single player content for FPS games.

Even when it's just milking the multiplayer version of it's player's cash?

I hope the recent source leak at Valve pushes them a bit more to realize that single-player content could build them a solid game of the year title

How does a source leak do that? I thought that's what game sales were for.
