I was more interested in the fact that Symantec is trying to make it look like Anonymous is into extortion, which from all reports has never been their goal.
[offtopic]This has happened with Apple currently accept in the business world. It's sick how many times you have to tell a CEO why he has to sync each of his iDevices to iTunes when he hooks it up to a computer. Then it's your fault (read mine) when he has a device set to auto sync and it removes something from one of his other devices.[/offtopic]
The biggest threat would be those who think like the poster below. There would be those in both the military and police force that would not agree with the government and supply both weapons and intel to the opposing faction.
How then do you stop an enemy you can not identify?
I'd mod you up had I the points. People would use hunting rifles if they had to. 2 or 3 kills with a hunting rifle could net you a few handguns grenades and some assault rifles. Not to mention ammo and rations.
The biggest issue for those troops fighting that war would not be from sniping, but that person that walked in a crowd right into your face and pulled a weapon. You can't rightly shoot into an unarmed crowd can you?
If they chose to live in a remote location, no one is forcing them. If internet connectivity became a right, then they are covered as long as they have existing phone lines. Let them enjoy dial up. It's connectivity. No one says it's got to be high speed.
I do agree with you though, it should not be a right. It should however be free from any one governments influence. That's not what it was created for.
Of course you could still fly to NZ and perhaps take a cruise ship the rest of the way, just saying if you really wanted to go without a full body scan.
My guess would be none, other than some influence from the US. Maybe in the form of extra funding this way the US can say to it's citizens "hey look Australia is using them".
It seems the Chinese would like to back them, but stay under the rest of the worlds radar while doing so. Should North Korea launch a missile into Seoul like they promised this year over the "Christmas Tree Dispute". http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-16129633
Should they actually follow through with their threats how fast do you think China would be to say "you guys are on your own".
Has data to back up that assumption that violent video games leads to bullying? I'd like to see the data that makes that correlation. Point #2, this idiot wants to tax a game meant for teen or up, and use half the money to get "kids playing outside", seems kids aren't the ones playing these games, it's people who are old enough to know if they want to go outside or play a video game.
This sounds like one of those soapbox empty gestures we see from politicians from time to time. "Well I did this for the children". Would this tax affect those outside the state or would that tax be across the whole country? What if I purchase my games from a source outside the country. How will that tax be collected?
what could possibly go wrong with introducing a new animal species into a habitat it doesn't belong. I mean look how well the plants did when put there.
It's China most likely the iPads sold there are counterfeit to begin with.
What's with Mars and probes? Seriously, how many have been lost either going or coming from?
It is it's own lawn.
Must be his first days on the web.
"Oh yawn" post brought to you by 4chan.

I'm reminded of this joke.

For this alone Apple can bite a big one.

Wow you apparently know nothing of urban combat.
We used all that in Afghanistan against machine gun toting, ide using, rpg carrying terrorists, and how long have we been there?
The problem with urban warfare is figuring out who is the enemy and who is a noncombatant.
Should the US citizens ever decide to revolt against the government it would be the worst war the government has engaged in since the Civil War.
Why now does he come out against Facebook? Where was he in the days of Friendster or Myspace?

Everyone knows it was created in Aperature Labs created them. http://technabob.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/plush_glados_potato.jpg
It would mean that production would do one of two things.
Either A) return to this country, or most likely B) move to the next cheapest country that could produce it.
No it wouldn't. Considering what China now has in industrial production, they really aren't looking to "make any waves" for themselves. In fact the their support has been waning. http://globalspin.blogs.time.com/2011/12/20/chinas-stake-in-a-stable-north-korea/

I guess that would be a "stateful packet".
I can count on one hand movies that have come out of Hollywood in the last decade that were worth me paying to see.
Let's get him together with the RIAA MPAA and have them explain to him why this would increase piracy.
The government cannot outright condemn it. In fact they support it, in the open, http://www.americasarmy.com/

I'd say the lion portion of usage of it was indeed piracy.
