Considering the current US trade deficit makes it even worse. In addition to the domestic produced energy, the US import of goods is much higher than export, which means: USA is consuming a lot of energy used to produce stuff in foreign countries.

Mechwarrior 2 Soundtrack. Imho the best game music ever since. I am still using this 10 year old masterpiece when getting bored by actual shooter game soundtracks. I wish the composer Jeehun Hwang would do a remake with tracks in full single length using actual music technology and a real orchestra.

hehe, don't forget to boycott the european money that is financing your countries budget and trade deficit. afaik two third of all european private savings are beeing transfered and invested in usa. say goodbye to your stock market (and your pension funds) once this source of money is falling dry because of stupid trade wars.

"The U.S. is planning to sit around and watch. "

With all those Echelon surveillance gear installed in almost every european country the U.S. will have at least a bright and clear picture of what is going on up there. ;)

  8. Possible cure for diamond fever: on Diamonds - Are They Really Worth the Cost? · · Score: 1

    - Get tickets to Amsterdam, Antwerp, Tel Aviv or NYC

    - Take part in some guided diamond polisher tours

    - Let your girlfriend watch how much (and how fast) diamonds get polished there. Diamond polishing is manual labor, but because of the hundreds of diamonds on the polishers desk, it looks more like a miller pouring grain in a mill.

    - While watching the polisher, do not get impressed by the tour guides marketing speak. Instead try to talk with your girlfriend about "profit" of diamonds. Dont forget to mention, that you have visited only one or two polishers and there are hundreds and more in town. Let her think about the "uniqeness" of a diamond....

    - If your girlfriend still wants one, enjoy the rest of the trip and avoid to buy it from the "guided-tour-polishers". They rip you off ;)
