I support 2 Win Server 2003 boxes, 2 Redhat 9.0 boxes and about 10 desktops running XP pro. All built from commodity hardware. I use Abit motherboards, Pentium 4's or Celerons, Intel NIC's and ATI Graphics. I've had *zero* problems after the initial startup issues of a bad RAM module and a bad ATI board. I also suggest Toshiba DVD/CD writers.
Loads of fun, just be sure you're checked out on it by someone who knows what they are doing. Before you look at anything organic, make sure it's allowed. A running mechanical wristwatch is incredible.
No supervisor, no HR flack and no VP ever got fired for running off an employee that gave notice. OTOH, there's a fair possibility that they could be fired if the employee did something grievious after giving notice.
This provides the first solid physical evidence to back up the theory that autism's root cause is a profound lack of empathy.
Wouldn't lack of empathy be a symptom of autism rather than a cause? Or that since the lack of mirror neurons is the cause, it gets expressed as a lack of empathy?
Lots of seasoned pros that can give you a good answer.

That doesn't have the bullshit licensing agreement. Norton has effectively fsked themselves out of the clone market with their totally absurd licensing requirements.
No. It's not dangerous and it's not new technology. I know firsthand that it is used in California and the Sierra Madres of Mexico. Most of the homes in Klameth Falls, Oregon are heated via geothermal energy. I'm sure it's used in a lot of other places, so I'm a little surprised this is even news. I've not heard of any sort of accident or danger, other than the possible release of poisionous hydrogen sulfide gas, and that only during the exploration stage.
More like a bad 2 years. Pro video division down the toilet, missed the window for LCD monitors and TV's, crappy reliability on most of the other products they make.
It's amazing that a company so good could tank so fast. Almost reminds me of DEC. Maybe Toshiba should buy them out.
And tell your boss you don't know where to start. You're a new employee and you're not expected to know everything. There's a possibility that your boss reads slashdot. There's also a possiblity that you won't get good advice. In any case, tell her that you're confidence level with your ability to do this task is not high and you may need some help.
I had one at work for awhile. It was set up to route a static IP to 10.10.1.XXX. If a network node with an IP address of 10.10.2.XXX tried to go out its gateway, it would lock up solid. Took a while to find that one. Course if you don't have a Linksys router, you can't play that game.
But that's not what happened. The capacitor company in question, Nichicon is, or rather was, the best in the business. Manufacturers pay a premium for Nichicon caps because they were the best available. The motherboards in question were made by Intel and Intel uses quality parts.
The problem is that Nichicon screwed up somehow, not that Intel got burned for buying the cheapest parts.
The caps were made by Nichicon. Nichicon has been in business for 50 years and has had, up to now, the reputation of building *the best* low esr high quality electrolytic caps on the market. I've specified Nichicon caps only in designs because they work better than anything else.
That's why this is such a surprise.
I know it's bad form to bitch about moderation, but I can't see any way that the parent is insightful. Nichicon has produced good caps for years. Manufacturers pay a premium for Nichicon caps. Something or someone fucked up a Nichicon. Has nothing to do with trial and error.
And say Who's the slut
Unfortunately they used the extra USD 2.4 billion to buy Subzero refrigerators and Aeron butt pedestals.

I'll tell you the point.

Absolutely. Not. No begging.

There are issues, but nothin insurmountable.

The only difference between communism and fascism is that the fascists have nicer uniforms.
