Heh, reminds me of that Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie song: "From MacOS to Windows, to Lin-li-lin-linux, every computer crashes 'cause every OS sucks".
Every computer of that era managed to fit an OS into about 16k of ROM, and the Commodore Plus4 even had a spreadsheet and word processor in there... Kinda makes everything else look bloated.
You can copy my music which is available in Ogg Vorbis format. How many other musicians here have released their music online? Surely more than have spoken so far.</SHAMELESS PLUG>
Nope, there's a spiral at the end and the scary face is on the B-side. It definately sounds like a ~64kbps mp3 type noise, not a picture. After putting lots of pictures in songs (Like the C64 screen shot in this one), I can tell the difference.
I swear there's about two seconds in the middle of Aphex Twin's Windowlicker that sounds like it was compressed at a very low bitrate. It doesn't sound better, but it's artistic:)
Seeing as how you can get plug-ins to give your music an analogue tape feel, nothing would surprise me. Sony keep on trying to claim that MiniDiscs sound "warmer" therefore better than the original CDs.
Cause: The word "apropos" is used in The Matrix: Reloaded

At least it beats the "science" depicted in the Mad Science Awards.
Dr. Linda Long had been doing something similar with Music of the Plants and Music of the Body.
Firebird? I thought they released games on the C64!
While we're at it, it's illegal to lend books to friends. They might as well throw you in jail for that as well, just to be on the safe side.
The phone was not expected to be revolutionary - the inventor thought that maybe there would be as many as one per village.
>vidog, videblog, vog, . . . this isn't going to catch on, is it.
Yeah, it's far too similar to the catchy phrase Ogg Vorbis. People would get confused.
>I know for sure it aint my life, could it be yours? If so, why?
Because I'm a depressed, philosophical transsexual on acid.*
(*Except for the acid).
Sounds a lot like the previously reported dot matrix symphony a while back. Interesting, but an acquired taste.

All Ogg codecs are going to have an .ogg extension. Apparently the decoders will be the smart type you mentioned, yes.
