Uhh...no? That'd be the equivalent of going to another country when it's time to pay your taxes, pay them at cheaper rates to this other country, and then come back with proof you've payed your taxes to another country expecting to not have to pay taxes for your country of residence...

Ah, I've seen two versions of Demolition Man, and the first one's stuck with me - Taco Bell was replaced with Pizza Hut throughout for most non-US releases IIRC (I saw a Chinese subtitled one). The UK one still uses Taco Bell, but having first seen it with Pizza Hut, that's what I think of...

Can you explain what the joke actually is? I don't remember seeing many Taco Bells when I was in the US (I assume that's what you are talking about).
It's not always 50 years - A couple of years ago we were doing some work from a text book from the 70s or 80s, and it said words to the effect of "If we keep using fossil fuels at the rate we are now, the supply will be depleted by the year 2000" - see, that one was at maximum 20-30 years!
In 2002 (I believe) they sued/considered suing someone, claiming they owned the patent on the hyperlink.... Ah, here it is. And I recently got ADSL in my area, so keep up hope...
I'd recommend mencoder if you don't mind the command line. A quick mencoder -ovc [insert codec here] -oac [insert audio codec here] -o somename.avi dvd://[number] and you're set. My current setup supports a straight copy, XViD, QuickTime, and several others which I'm not sure what they are...
I've never noticed any particularly crap and/or "low" ads here... I've seen worse on American TV (ooh, install this Internet terminal and make $$$ fast!) and billboards (can't think of any examples). I expect this is just for publicity and they won't actually do it.
I could careless if someone wanted to live their live as a Christian, but when they intrude on my family that crosses the line. When I have to explain why men or women are praying on TV, I have to explain why. If Christians believe truly in their religion, how is it that Christians can see their wrong and change their religious preference? It happens you know. They are pushing their agenda and are destroying America as we know it. I refuse to have my kids grow up in that hostile type of climate.

Yeah, slightly cut to fit better, I know. Note that I'm not American, and I don't have anything against Christians, it's just that what you are saying just sounds so...well...stupid. How are gay people making America a hostile climate by simply kissing on the TV. Oh no, shock horror, THEY ARE DOING THINGS THEY DO NORMALLY ON THE TV, THEY ARE PUSHING THEIR AGENDA ON ME! I will have to perform my parental duty and explain to my children what they are doing! [I'm assuming here that that is what you were referring to] As if they won't know about homosexuality anyway. I fail to see how this is different from somebody complaining about Christians pushing their agenda on them via Songs of Praise (English TV programme), and having to explain about why they are singing praise of - depending on religion of the complainer - a mythical being, a God which is not according to their beliefs, or whatever.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if you're a troll...but I suppose it is still possible you aren't.
Not always true... The following (crap) sentance uses both words, and makes sense; using "one" both times would not:
If one is playing [insert card game here] and has run out of cards, the dealer must shuffle the discard pile, making sure they do not be swayed by goatse.cx, which has just appeared on the sole monitor in the room.

IANAL, of course...
Troll? Kazaa Lite/K++ were hacked Kazaa clients; there was nothing clean room about them.
giFToxic is a Gtk2 frontend (development seems to have stalled); giFT and giFT-FastTrack are needed to use it with FastTrack.

They aren't copies? So they press a different sequence of 0s and 1s into every single DVD? Wow! That must cost them loads!

Too late, I already posted the RTFM way :P.
make moveold before make install - it moves the current lsmod, modprobe etc to lsmod.old, modprobe.old etc.
I would've used "they are not swayed" if I'd caught it...

It could well have been somewhere else; I've noticed that sometimes (at least around here) toilets for women aren't next to the men's... No idea why.
Apart from, maybe, older versions of Windows and Linux distributions which don't include it, yes...
The Windows XP tour uses Flash itself, and the plugin is installed by default.
Of course, I could be remembering incorrectly...
