The difference is that it doesn't use a disk image as the backing store any more. This means you can burn a DVD if you have less than 4.7 GB of free space on the hard drive.
Also, the "burn folder" uses aliases instead of copying files to a temporary "volume". That way it always burns the current version at burn time. Furthermore, you can save it and re-burn it, always with the current version.
Actually, this reporter contacted me for this story. When I heard that site had a problem, I went to check it out for myself. What I found was that the contact form action URL entered on its own would display all of the nearly 20,000 name, postal and email addresses.
The bug I saw in action is fixed now, but if you select the whole contents of the page, there is still some strange if innocuous text showing there.
Since I used a unique email address for this site, I have been checking to see if I got any spam to that address. I haven't had any in the last few days, since I started checking the "to" address.
I've done consulting work for companies that wanted my social security number. In those cases, they used it for a 1099 form to prove that I WAS a contractor and not an employee (which would obligate them to FURTHER taxes like payroll, medicare, etc.).
Actually, for visual impairment, there is a contrast slider, a grayscale choice (for the whole UI, not just the widgets) and an inverted (black and white) video.
Mind you, this is on Mac OS X 10.3. Some of that might not have existed on 10.2.x. I'd have to check.
Speaking as the parent of two small children, I am repeatedly dismayed that parental judgment is often cast as censorship.
The first amendment covers GOVERNMENT control of speech. Non governmental institutions have all the freedom to exercise judgment and set age-appropriate limits and match the prevailing values of the community.
Don't interfere with how I raise my kids and I won't interfere with how you raise yours.
I don't expect that working with the processor is the limit of what you need to make an OS work. How about all of the other custom hardware Apple uses?
Firstly, I'm not happy with something that doesn't give you a sensible method of putting tracks on it, cross platform. Well, you can put it on from iTunes on Windows. But not from Linux (AFAIK), if that's what you mean.
Secondly, I want somthing that plays a format that other people don't control the rights to. Perhaps I'm missing something, but it sounds like you're referring to protected AAC. I can put regular AAC (MPEG-4 Audio) and MP3 on it, at least. Perhaps you're referring to FLAC or Ogg Vorbis or something. It's not like protected WMA is open or anything.
Thirdly, they're just too damn expensive. Ummmm....I got nothin'.:-)
If you consider male-female relations in the context of the human history instead of just the last 50 years, women generally want a good provider. Women seem drawn to not only money, but power, strength, status. Men are drawn to signs of fertility (think younger, slimmer).
You must not be married if you think that prostitution offers the same benefits as a dating or marriage relationship.
There is NO connection-and you'd be fool and a communist to make one, between having a gun and shooting someone with it and NOT having a gun and NOT shooting someone.

To drastically increase your changes it seems you need only be named Ian and write a book with "Iron" in the title.

Note that spamalot.com is a different site.

I can provide a screen shot on request.
But a world map? That'll be one huMONGous SVG file!
:-P
Only if it's actual size.
I believe you're referring to VoiceOver, the spoken interface (screen reading) part of Mac OS X Tiger.Unreleased, so understandably unfinished.
Current versions of Mac OS X (10.3.x) have a Zooming feature. Perhaps this, combined with a 30 inch display would be a nice donation from Apple.
Sucker!

Doesn't that involve bending over?
That's like 6+ years ago now. Ancient history. Everything Apple ships now is G4 or G5 (PPC 7xxx or 9xx).
Yeah, AIX was added to Macs in 1995 (but only to certain models. See "Apple Network Server").

Isn't the power architecture a superset of the designs used in PowerPC-based Macs?

Sorry your show on MTV got cancelled.
