Apple makes a damn fine laptop. Though I paid an arm and leg for her (Angela), she has taken a beating like no other machine I have ever owned. I dropped her while getting out of a taxi in Chicago, and she even slid off of a table and onto a tile floor. That one required a little surgery but she is still ticking.
OSX is solid and has a great future in front of it no matter which proc it is running on. A proc is a proc and we have plenty of power these days. Apple truly benefits the user with it's hardware and software.
