when the guy got to my house i was running winme on an old hard drive i never use. i watched him install while i acted like i was more interested in the tv show that was on. when he was ready to leave he asked me to sign his paperwork. i did. then i asked what all he installed. he said it was just drivers and that he also setup microsoft outlook to coneect to my new isp email account. i was like cool man, thanks! when he was leaving, i asked if he left the "driver disk" he used in the box. he said he couldnt, because that was the only disk he had. then i said well let me copy it incase i have to rebuild windows if it crashes. this is the best part. he said you dont need a driver disk to install it. it finds the driver when you reinstall windows me. he stopped and thought what he just said and said sorry but i have another install to finish before i go home. i started laughing and said thanks man.

how do like hosting Full Metal Challenge vs. Junkyard Wars? I mean in Junkyard Wars, the teams have to really think and try different stuff to beat each other on a set event for that show. On Full Metal Challenge, the overall goal is the same everytime (bowling, bumper cars, race the track). What show is your personal favorite?

i agree. send it back to them. i mean a million disk will be hard as hell to move off a truck before the cops show up, or security deals with them. it would take a few 18 wheelers to do this. they might be small, but when you put a few thousand in a box they get heavy real quick. yet, pack a million disk in a truck. more power to them. they are going to be unloading disks for a quiet a while!

thats pretty cool to know. i always wondered how the whole rental stores played a part in movie/gaming industry profits. i used to run a department in a production company making movies and games for world known companies to mom and pop stores. seeing how much it cost to produce a dvd, vhs tape, game, or computer software made it seem unreal how much it cost to purchase from a store.

What about all the rental stores that buy only a few copies and rent them out to people. Sure the customer can try games out, and see what is good and what is not before they buy a game. What if you buy a game console and all you do is rent a game once a month. Is that not killing their sales in games? You think they would bitch and moan about losing money because of rental stores. To add to that thought, rental stores are the best place to get the game and copy it in the first place!

Its just something else that they want to control in our lives. Id rather download a song that I liked, instead of buying a cd with only good one song it and paying $20+/- for it.

After I geting used to Linux, I hardly ever touch my expensive Windows box that I built. You don't realize how limited you are on Windows until you get some experience down using Linux. I think everybody should at least give Linux a try for about 6 months and see the huge difference of their capabilities against Windows.
