My observation is that the less respnsibilities in life someone has, the less efficient they really are with their time. There are exceptions. However, often when meeting up with some single friends, I find they are always late, and I am always on time despitehaving to pack up two kids under the age of two.
My observation has been the opposite of yours. It's the parents who are less productive and need to arrive late or leave early.

You might say the "easy" answer is to get the seller to give me the account info for the account he created. However, according to Blizzard's representative, not all of the original account information can be modified. In fact, enough would be unchangable that the original owner of the account would be able to regain control of the account at any time, should he desire to do so.
Hmmm. I bought a used copy and just logged in using the original purchaser's account info. It let me change everything, but the name on the account and the name of the account.
It is troubling to learn that the original owner could take back the account even though I changed the email address and password on the account. There must be a secret pass phrase or password to let them do this.
Anyway, hopefully the original owner does not realize that they can do this.
I would suggest using the original owner's info so that you can play.
Either that or get the original owner's info and resell the game yourself on eBay to somebody else and let them deal with this.
I don't know about the rest of you, but if I disable my network connection before I launch HL2, it asks me if I want to play offline. I then click on 'Start in Offline Mode', and play and save games just fine.
Hate to break it to you genius, but Dubya would be much more likely to be washed away if he was in the White House than if he were at Camp David. Camp David is in Northern Maryland and much further above sea level than Washington D.C.

I am still in shock that he lost the Republican nomination to Shrub in 2000. I was positive that he had the nom. all wrapped up against a complete idiot like Bush. I was even going to vote Republican, something I have never done in a federal election.
