    I can't wait to see what some of the Word documents I have inherited would look like inside.

    Add a RETURN and formatting for a section changes, delete a character at end of line and things jump all over the place, backspace has similar...but different result. My bet is the XML for Word is at best a little worse than the HTML Frontpage produces.

    Actually, when GM came out with their electric vehicle (I worked at Saturn in the same building as the EV1 team)...my thought was the way to dispell the perception that this was some "granola eating tree hugger technology" they should start a racing circuit. They could hit the off season in unconventional venues, (e.g. the now unused Silver Dome). If you had cars going 120mph indoors it would look fast.

    Most of the world's population is near sea level. For every Minneapolis there is an LA and a New York.

    As is the case in this pilot project, the hardest up locations for resources are often islands so initially this may be a viable solution.

    Then consider how fast the Pacific drops off near Monteray CA. Consider Japan, Korea, Indonesia, east coast of India...turn on the satelite view in google maps and see how many populated coasts are near continental shelf drop-offs.

    At home I use my left hand, and at work I use my right hand. switching it up on weekends and after work allows one of my arms to rest a bit.

    I needed to remind myself that this thread was about input peripherals for computers. Using your left hand is like having a new girlfriend?

    So, quick question: Windows has appeared to evolved into a seriously fragmented OS. How many different versions of Windows are there? There is a Mobile, Embedded, Server, Pro, Home, Starter, Handheld......What else?

    And there are how many different Linux distro's slicing and dicing various forks of GPL odds and ends? Is this an arbitrary marketing decision as well?

    Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska North Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

    These states he mentioned consistently do better with standardized testing such as the SAT's.

    At the federal level education policy is modeled after ???Texas???...with Houston of all places held out as a great example.

    Sometimes I lament that the south lost...but for completely different reasons than the stars and bars folk.

    but it looks tall because zoning keeps high-rise buildings away from it....

    and photographers have a secret spot on Queen Anne Hill that with the compressed perspective of the right lenses make the Space Needle look like it towers over the skyline.

    Dumping heat at higher altitudes will be an issue (thin air).

    An airplane cabin is pressurized so you could as they say us this machine on a flight test or atmospheric research machine. Most data acquisition experiments would likely gather data with more modest equipment and do the analysis in a tera-ferma environment.

    I would be interested to hear the response from those advocating school prayer and intelligent design in science class when the morning prayer is lead by Brother Akmed and the science class is tought be Longbow Running Bear.

    I would think a few months of that would have them feeling pretty good about teaching theology at home and in church.
