    Actually it means SUSE is getting better at handshakes and butt kissing business dealings. Something the Linux community is soarly lacking.

    Now imagine the buffet or internet where everyone is the bandwidth hog.

    Right or wrong? Who's to say? Terms of Use wise may

    be taking to much "chicken" from others.

    How many people here who make less than $40k/year actually subscribe to iTunes?

    But really:
    Who pays for iTunes
    Who still gets their music via Limewire,etc.
    Does iTunes really provide a service for everyone or
    just well off people who can afford Apple products?

    The real interesting thing would be who can afford
    iTunes, iPods, Macs, etc and still
    downloads via peer-to-peer anyway?

    Is there a fine line between the effort of getting
    your music vs economics?

    This is ./ and Apple we are talking about so
    maybe I should assume salaries are $n/year where
    n is any gargantuan number ;)

    Needless to say, I do not like David Weber, nor do I like the Honor Harrington books. I am deeply distrustful of anyone who does.

    In other words, my opinion is right, and if you disagree with me, there must be something wrong with you.

    That's where CrankyFool crossed the line from reviewing to preaching. In my opinion, of course.

    The book series recommender was trusted to be an expert and ruined the reviewer's vacation.
    He right to use strong terminology to get his point across to us in the review that these were bad books and also that we should be very cautious with allowing experts to make choices for us when indeed it may juts be a commision situation.

    JavaScript and JScript and the EMCAScript standard are a very good thing.

    Millions (Billions?) of people have web browsers now with JavaScript capabilities and they are keeping them.

    As a developer of online web applications the advantages of using JavaScript are enormous compared to a lot of simple newpaper like websites that offer very little interaction.

    A standard in UI gestures would be nice, but the idea behind the internet and websites and web applications in general is freedom of chioce.
