    A 39 inch 4kTV is the equivalent of 4 20 inch 1080p monitors together.

    Cadillac did it for the entire 80s. It took Decades to buy back some of the reputation, and it is still not where it was. Mercedes did it for a few years in the 90s. Because they did it for less time, it only took a decade to come back.

    But soon after that, there is a bounce. Now WalMart is the last place you shop when you do not care about quality. A one time use option. And people prefer "anything but WalMart" for stuff they want to keep. So who has higher margins on a pan, WalMart where people shop only on price, or Sur La Table where people are willing to pay for quality. (Which, amusingly enough, costs less when you factor in replacement costs.)

    It amazes me when companies sell down their good name. It takes a lot of time and money to earn it, and it never brings in as much when you do this. So not too more companies on my "avoid" list. Luckily there is a lot of competition.

    I know it's very fashionable to have allergies these days but a tummy ache is not anaphylaxis. Try taking it with food next time.

    Anaphylaxis is not the only allergic reaction. Not even the only life threatening one. And NVD (Nausa, vomiting, diarrhea) during a respiratory illness is very deadly.

    Yes, they ignore the fact that those un-immunized 15% gave a nice reservoir for the illness to mutate and develop stronger strains, like illnesses do. And lets not bring in the fact that most Americans have piss poor immune systems to begin with, and the shots just make one facet stronger, not invincible.

    Very valid. There is a /8 assigned to packet radio operation... Not common, and not often connected to the actual Internet anymore. Oh, and not paid for at all.

    3) Double/Triple-NAT is good enough for me and everyone else!

    I am with you here. Especially that nasty NAT abomination in 2Wire routers "DMZ Plus Mode."

    Very valid point. Especially when your ISP DNS craps out and you can actually remember 4.2.2.2 or 8.8.8.8 or 198.6.1.1 without the Internet to look it up.

    I would not be surprised if the packet radio /8 goes away at some point.
