I agree. It's a great concept, and I eagerly await the next version. right now, however, it doesn't correctly go from one song to another for me, it doesn't have a lot of features that I'd like, and doesn't support my iPod.
I can live without iPod support, but things like re-ordering based on columns, proper shuffle, etc...especially playing more than one song without me having to click "next"...these are features that I'm willing to put up with "DRM ridden" iTunes for.
I'd noticed a few problems with iTunes before, such as needing to authorize music on new computers, etc. I know it's not much of a headache, but when I moved to a new job, I moved music to my new work computer, and it made me "re-authorize" my songs for that computer. Guh...I realize that they're trying to stop me from spreading my songs to everyone I know, but what a hassle.
The real irritation came when I tried to burn an MP3 cd to play in my truck. My truck's stereo can play MP3 cds, but you can't burn a purchase AAC file to an MP3 cd. I didn't know this until I tried it, and by the time I figured it out, it was too late to take my new Kanye West CD with me to the mountain.
Sure, I can always burn my AACs to a music CD, and then rip them back into MP3 format, but what a pain in the ass. I could also just get an AAC cracker and convert them directly to MP3, but what a pain in the ass. It seems to me that DRM is not really protecting content through technology, but through irritation.
They're taking all of the fun out of it! What's the point of modding your case if it doesn't involve power tools and the risk of damage to expensive components?!

I had some buddies in the 82nd who were in Somalia and knew some guys who'd been in Bosnia, and we had a couple of guys who'd been in the first Iraq war. Thankfully, I never "got the chance" to go to war.

I used to work for Webtrends doing technical support (yecch!) so I feel like I have some good insight into web analysis and it's pitfalls and benefits, as well as the types of people who use it. The biggest problems by far that were encountered was setup-configuration and graph interpretation. I think that both of these problems will be increased in a program like this, and that the cool factor provided by the model will not offset these problems for most serious webmasters.
I see a couple of problems with setup and configuration, but the biggest without doubt is "can it handle dynamic pages?" Is it able to discern the difference by pages when that difference is controlled by a URI query? What if the dynamic parameters are passed in with a POST? Will this require the tracking on each page to be modified? Many large companies use dynamic websites, so this could be a serious barrier.
As far as interpretation problems go, I think it's pretty cool that this software is able to give graphic metaphors for traffic on a web site, but it's hard to use abstract metaphors when doing business or web traffic analysis.
I think that this is going to be a tool, almost exclusively, of small websites that are able to tweak their web pages on a whim (unlike large companies are able to do, in most cases), which makes the price point even more of a problem. Thirty bucks a month?! That's a lot of money for someone who's running a small site, it could be more than their hosting fees.
It's a cool idea, and I like to see the virtual world evolving, but I don't think that this is going to do well.
