    What you are looking for is the Toshiba Libretto. Its a tiny form factor laptop, and really is a notebook computer(I saw someone pull one out of a Daytimer.

    There are really 3 markets for portable computers, the palm market... which is fairly well saturated, the "portable workstation" market, that wants something that can be used on an airplane or at a coffee shop, but won't break your back. and the "notebook computer" market, that truly wants something pocket sized, but fully functional. AFAIK, there is only one computer in that market, and its heavily overpriced. I fully expect the 13, 14, and 15 inch portables to disapear and the 7, 9 and 10s to pick up steam, as well as the 17-21 inch market.

    Once again, not really news. This doesn't change anything, selling bootlegs, pirate copies etc has always been a criminal act, and even if restrictions on downloading or trading with friends are legislated, selling someone elses work will still be punished.

    My main toon/avatar/etc is a Female druid for much the same reason as you don't play female necros, Male druids are creepy, almost as creepy as necros. OTOH, she is quite agressive, and very much a warrior(note the lower case) She's also a halfling, and is likely to get quite perturbed at any suggestion of shoes or shaving. I also think its something of a myth that Males play females for "their only interaction" as someone else suggested, since fully half of the males I know who play females primarily are married IRL.

    Nobody is saying anything bad about the 19 year old because he got arrested, and will likely get his just deserts.

    OTOH, some of us live in the real world, and know what 19 year old Seniors who play football want from 14 year old freshman girls, and will be certain to warn our daughters(should we have them) to beware.

    I'm not suggesting he did nothing wrong, I'm merely pointing out that 19 year old seniors on the football team, and 14 year old freshmen have sex all the time. Right or wrong doesn't come into it.

    If her mother didn't warn her about what 19 year old seniors on the football team want from freshman girls, thats her mothers fault, not myspace's.

    Forum in this case refering to any place you can meet people, mall, school, library, etc.

    Ok, Here's what I got from the story, Slightly precocious 14 year old freshman female meets Somewhat Non-precocious(being generous here) 19 year old Senior online instead of in the cafeteria or study hall, goes to dinner, a movie, and his place and does what seniors and freshman do. Buyers remorse Blah Blah Blah.

    happens all the time, in every school, in every city. The only difference in this case was she met him on myspace instead of "at the library". It sucks to be him, but its not the schools fault and its not myspace's fault.

    They are testing out pagers that you can carry around with you, that will make not of subliminal signals that participating networks insert into their stream. My wife and I have them. I'm 30, my wife is 28. we've been doing the market survey(shopping segment for 3 years now) and recieved the pagers last winter. They must be worn. they will sleep if thye think they aren't being worn, but they are very motion sensitive, so even while sitting still, breathing, stretching and normal body motions keep it awake.

    For MOST of those playing MMORPGs its a hobby or a diversion. Like sewing, knitting, pottery, computer game design etc. A potter, can make a vase identical to the one that has been sold for $10 000 (US). If he puts flowers on it, and keeps it on his mantle, its not income. Just like if you were to write a computer game, until you convert it to income, its just a hobby.

    I've found that it's slightly less hassle to run through the spiel(esp since I make them prove their identity) perform the account maintenance, and then call the number on the back of my card to confirm the identity of the person who just contacted me.

    The Lyrics site was the only one where I couldn't pick up enough clues to make the right choice. And in the end I got it wrong. The rest were easy. In fact, one of them had a snippet of the TOS visible which stated that they would install spyware.
