I was talking about the steering wheel. Have you ever tried in person? I have. On a 1988 Blazer and on a 1992 Maxima. It took me about 8 minutes with a hacksaw. I do not know where you got your 5 second BS, but the fact is that the steering wheel is made out of re-enforced steel. How the hell do you think you can cut it with 5 seconds?? If it was just plastic ok... but steel? You ever tried using on a hacksaw on a pad lock? Ok same thing but the metal is thicker.
Your wrong.... it will take him at least 2 minutes.. youc an onyl way it off or use a torch. I tried cutting those babies with a bolt cutter.. no luck.
Still it slows them down. It is impossible to prevent a car from beling stolen ever. The poitn of an alarm, The club and other devices is to jsut slwo them down until someone else notices (and scared them away) or they get tired (and give up).

I did follow it last time when I posted it. Is it possible that Dish is doing this currently illegal? That is very hard for me to beleive. I went to Dish Network's page concerning the distant stations for more information. And I even filled out their online questioner to see if I am qualified. And it said I am not.... wierd. Is it possible that since I had that service since about 1996 I will continue to have because of a "grandfather" law?
I tried to get more inofrmation when that law was passed. Do you ahve any idea? In the article it states that it is trying to get this appealed and it might get appealed by 1998. So I am assuming it was written sometime in 1997. Is it possible that this law has changed?

Sci-fi agreed. But discover home and the other discover packages are part of te Dish Top 150 package, which cost I think $39.99. Too much.
How is it illegal? For 4 years now, I pick up the local channels for Denver, LA, Miami, New York and Chicago I think. but the thing is, Dish Network maks you also pay for my local chanels (Boston). so you first must buy the local package, which is $4.99 I think. And then you can upgrade that to the super local package which is $7.99 (maybe 9) that includes the other cities. And yes, I do get the WB, UPN and fox local channels for those cities. I thinks it just a mix.
I am a little confused why you made a waiver request? If you do have Dish Network, ask for the super station package and it include other local channels.
What about satalite packages? I would love to buy just only buy specifcal local chanels (Denver, Miami, and LA) with just Sci-fi, discovery and nuddie channels. Unfortunatly Dish Network, makes you buy a shitload of other channels if I want sci-fi and discovery:(
more colloquially, you push a guy down the stairs and see how much damage he takes
Are they looking for any new people? I would not mind pushing people as a full time job. I can already image the job. Some dipshit says "Please do not push me down the stairs again, I fell 6 times already today and I am bleeding." My response "Shutup" *PUSH*.... *boom* *bang* *ding-dang*...
"(1) Operating systems are relics of the past...(3) seeing a stream of 3D documents(?), so (4) he's written such software"
Okay, I disagree with the above items. Lets start in reverse order. (4), he created software. All I can say congrad-u-fucking-lations. Unless I see it running of my machine or another machine, it is just theory. (3), to my knowledge, documents are just text (not going to think about 3d images that are attached to some). What the hell he expect us to do; to see text charators in 3D? So we can look at the maybe fromt he side or from the back? WTF! (1), how can operating systems be relics? They are required to give other software applications access to the hardware. Without an OS, each applicatin woudl require the knowledge how to access the hardware and use it properly. This will only create more bugs in people codes and staility issues.
Personally, I think this guy is from the 60's and is still tripping. People like that I love to give them a swift kick in the nads with my size 15.
The team found that the materials involved in making a 32-MB RAM microchip total 630 times the mass of the final product
Wait a second, it it took that long just to make the 32 meg chip, why not just make them larger? Larger chips are almost identical is size. Would this not be safer for the environment? Hence eleminate all small ram peices and just sell large ram chips. For example, they would only sell 1, 2, or even 5 gig ram upgrades. In theory the difference in cost would be minimal.
As our society ages, silicon implants will become safer for installations and thus will become more popular among woman and men (yes some men want to have the perfect chest). This leads me to think. Five-hundred years from now, when archeologists pull out the bodies of our children's children (~100 years from now), there would fidn several things. They would be the skeleton, a phone/PDA and two dried up sacks of silicon.
That is your food for thought. Those archeologists will do research how silicon was used in our lives and how it affected us.
I lose my car keys once about every 2 months. Ended up jsut keepign the automatic door opener attached to my wallet (keeps inside). House keys I gave up, just got a key pad. Wallet I lost so many times, I just ended up buying a harley wallet with a chain (at age 16, I am in my 20's now) and never lost it since then. My fingers? they are big.. I am 6 foot 6.. you figure it out.. if not, I can always show my size 15 size up your behind:)
No man. They charge me 6 Euro for it. I am fighting with Vodafight to refund those charge and the 900 number charges that just "appeared." Of coruse I am not going to admit I called them:)
Keypsized player? Gee that is smart. So it makes it so much easier now to lose it. When I want a player (walkman, mp3, etc), I want something big enough to fit in my hand and easly change the songs without looking at the buttons. Something made to fit in your had and where your finger end, should have the buttons.
And don't even get me going with the title. Does it come with two displays? I can brag to my friend then. "Hey guys, I got my new MP3 Liquid Crystal Display display. In the words of Dennis Leary what the fuck, get an education.
Can we not prove it in a less expensive manor? When we landed on the moon we left behind many thing; roller, flag, foots prints, and other junk. Our telescopes are powerfull, can we not zoom in on these objects and take pictures of them? Maybe even allow the public, at certain planeturiums to look at them? Just a thought. By viewign the flag alone should be proof enough.
No sure, but once I walked into a build named Boston Public LIBRARY, to take a piss. When I was inside, I became scared. There were lunatics sitting in chairs, very quiet, just starting at table tops with a neat stack of papers. Soem were even chantign soemthign without making a soudn but their lips were moving! I was so scared, I pissed all over my shoes and ran out. Never went back in there since then.
I see that your into music production. Since you already have a SCSI device (assuming it is properly configured), I hight suggest getting an exteranl SCSI unit and forget about USB (slower than a monkey trying to take a dump). Find out what its max bandwidth is. For example, if it is an adaptec 2940UW it handles 68 pin at 80 m per second. Using this option would work faster than your internal HD, but this really depends how good the card is.
On ebay, you can get an external 40 gig unit under $100 and the SCSI cable for another $15. Not a bad cost investment considering you spend Close to $1000 just for the audio cards:)
This was actually a desperate attempt to be marked funny;-) Sorry to tell you buddy, but you were not funny. You might be funny looking but not funny.:P
I have no seen anyoen yet talk about this kind of hack in the responses. Has anyone heard of such a hack? Why you may ask I wish to have Network capabilties? So the DVD player could rip the movies directly on my network server (or HD to transfer later) and play them back from that server. Would be a sweet utility program.
Yes I am aware that some computer PVR's already do this, but the problem is with the fact it is a computer. I take time for bootup, and the OS has the abiltiy to crash. The bootup sequence so not only be immediate but also on a more perm state; a eprom.
Any hacks or maybe devices like this, I would be interested to hear about.
Hehehe.. agreed. I guess I should not call them up and bitch :) Thanks for the info.
