I'll assume the check is in the mail, by your logic.
As was stated in that artical itself, and many times in the comments, that had no effect on the theory of dark matter. What they found were galaxies they knew had to be there, but they couldn't see. We found a 10 fold increase in the number of visible galaxies. This doesn't answer anything about Dark Matter, where the gravitational behaivor of galaxies doesn't seem to match the visible mass they contain. All we did was find more examples to review for the theory of Dark Matter, not dark matter itself.
I will support this legistation, as soon as we can agree to stop any and all trade with China on Human Rights Violations full-stop, because human rights violations are vastly more important then cyber crime.
Untill that happends, shut your yap.
Since when was it against the law to travel outside the US? The problem with your argument is where do you draw the line? First its "You cant travel to the warzone citizen!" then its "You cant travel to the non-preapproved vacation spot, citizen!" then its "you cant leave the US, citizen!" and eventually you'll end up at "Its past 5:45PM local time, you cant leave your house, citizen!"
We're not dealing with a "Guy from jersy picks up an AK, flys to Afganistan, and opens fire on a checkpoint" situation. This is a "A guy from jersy has been spotted in Afganistan, and we think he's with the enemy" situation. What if we're wrong? What if he is there for some actual reason? should we be wary of the guy? Hell yes! should we drop a bomb on the house he's in? err...no?
What do you mean, not natural? It was created in, it sounds like, a supernova explosion. The stuff was produced by natural forces. Its not man-made, and unless some aliens got bored and blew up a star, its not made by anyone else either.
Hence why you dont take it over 85, a slight gust of wind from the back and you're dodging dirty road bandits and driving trains off the sides of clifts.
Also, dont buy Goodyear Tires, every time I hit 88 MPH the damn things burst into flames...
Yeah! Same deal with going to 'Mars' or whatever that red blight in the sky is called. I mean, we've landed on the moon, its not like we got anything else to prove at this point, right?
But this assumes much. Who's to say the development of this, or some other device, doesn't develops into a technology beyond our ability to intercept it? Say, instant reliable communication over infinate distance. If such a thing were discovered by the LHC, or any such experiment, that was shown to be cheap, effective, and long lasting, I can more or less guarentee we'd stop broadcasting radio waves overnight. You asume with such a theory that the only way to achieve such an outcome (We cant see you) is that you're no longer there. I have to disagree with this.
you buy a car thats labled as "road capable" from a car dealer.
You start driving said car on roads and any incline over 2 degrees stalls the underpowered engin to a halt within a few feet.
You take the car back to complain and they specify in the fine print "road capable" means they've tested the car on roads, and it does drive on them, but they only tested roads that were a 45 degree decline and were perfectly straight.
The argument that the car can run on some roads (the ones they tested) but most people would look at and assume "road capable" would mean anything labled as a 'road'. Its inapproprate to assume most people would even be aware of the gradients of incline on local roads, as all other cars that have been sold in the past could run on pretty much any paved road in exsistance, granted some better then others but atleast they could run.

If only they'd handle it this way, in the US of A.
Or...they could just be straight forward and tell you its a lisance! Wow, there's an idea...
Downloaded, Burned, Sent via Morse Code and Signal Fire, I dont care. If they cant be bothered to confirm its a lisance and not an actual product, they can get lost.
I've been a Slashdot member for years (hint: my UID doesn't have as many digits as a lot of yours).
Coulda fool'd me, ACs dont even HAVE UID's. Which by the way, I own the copyright of. You're all in violation and owe me quite a bit of money, per post none the less.
As for you AC, you are not in violation of anything. That said, you're still an idiot, and im fairly sure someone ows the IP rights on that. Best watch yourself.
If the price wasn't so high, maybe people would buy it again.
Hard to blame the record stores like yours im sure, something tells me you dont really set the prices. But if it wasn't for the music companies out there, I could walk into your store, and custom burn a CD with the songs of my choice for 10 bucks.

No, it only means they cant give you a DSL connection and label it as High Speed Broadband.

Or they've had 63 million domain names closed down for whatever reason. I dout they've had 64 million domain names active at a single time.

Way to post off topic, on your own topic.
That...that really takes something special.
Which only solidifies my steadfast belief that a majority of americans are idiots! Being american myself, this is a scarry thing to believe.
