music has always sucked, the thing is there is no reason to play shit music from the 80s. in 20 years music from this decade is gonna rock because apparently only 30 songs were made in this time period.
all speech can be called hate speech, but it's pretty clear that not all speech is hate speech. ignoring that, these guys are like that kid 4 years younger than you that used to taunt you in high school then run to a teacher when you even looked like you were gonna do something about it: ie bitchslap those fuckers and then look innocent
how does it scream of failed map design? they wanted to make it hard but not punish the player too much for failing, sounds like they got the map design perfect to me.
while i don't really disagree with your main point, depending on software firewalls on the end machines is much less secure than a separate firewall box.
i believe stuff going to something#youremail@gmail.com will still get to you, so if you make up your own addresses for each site you can move all emails from that address to the bin if it gets spammy.
i believe you can use a hash in your gmail to categorise the email, ie you can sign up to something with say ign#myemail@gmail.com and if it ever gets spammy just move email from that address to the bin
blizzard have publicly stated they are working on a new mmo which is new ip, i don't remember where or which but it's not my job to educate so try google
has the latter ever worked to bring about political change? admittedly my knowledge of politics in this area is pretty limited but of the 4 instance i can think of nothing happened except the plebs found it harder to get food.
the idea that the system works it's the people that suck is not a helpful or useful idea. People will *always* be stupid and lazy, those that aren't don't really care about fairness they just want whatever is best for them.
To get a good goverment you need to work on the system to make it take into account that everyone relating to it in any way will be stupid, lazy and selfish people. How you actually acomplish that is left as an excersice to the reader.
religion is pretty handy when you want to wage a war and your soldiers go "what's in it for me?", other than that, what does the US have due to Christianity that no other country has without religion welded into the government? if you think religion is government is a great idea how do you democratically represent the other prevalent religions in the US, or do you classify them as wrong and therefore irrelevant?
i dunno, i've always thought that if god exists why would he care? i wouldn't give a crap if i built a bunch of autonomous robots for shits and giggles and they started eating each other, unless i ran out of robots i guess.
i don't think the macro line is worth the effort, you could just make a line for every 4-6 registers, i think that would load balance enough. that said the single line doesn't actually cost the store any less as they will serve exactly the same amount of people no matter how fast the line goes as long as no registers are empty, so i doubt they'd put masses of effort into it.
heh, that is one of the most unrealistic comments i've seen in a while... specialist teachers with a passion and enthusiasm for maths? i've only ever met one, and he sucked balls as a teacher. maybe we should start recruiting fairies or goblins, maybe they'll get the job done.
Of course not, it's based on the (possibly incorrect) assumption that the GIMP developers want to make good software that people find helpful. If their goal is to make bad software, well, cheers.
oh my god i think you're finally getting it, their goal is to make good software that they themselves find helpful.
Usability testing before making a UI? what are you, pants on head retarded? this whole thing started as a university project, if the devs had started with usability testing there would be no gimp for you to whine about.
your entire post is based on the premise that the gimp developers somehow owe you for using their software, they're doing it because they enjoy it, despite the obvious lack of people willing to make the UI you like i think they're well within their rights to tell them to build it themselves, which is essentially "no, you can do it if you want but i don't care about it".
(BTW i fucking hate the ribbon (i've started learning keyboard shortcuts just so i know where stuff is, i guess you can call that more efficient) but i have no real issues with the gimp interface, maybe it's more subjective than you think?)
http://raphaeljs.com/ can display svg on most versions without a plugin, horrendously slow on ie6 though

yeah, at least 1 country changes daylight savings time every year, it's not a big deal except if you're running windows 2k or something

yeah, the demo was a bit long tbh.

most first party clipboard implementations suck so badly it's amazing they've never been improved, so i don't really see your point.
fuck i know i hate it when bedroom developers get paid for doing what they love you dirty fucking troll

because your post was 15 times harder to read to the end

microsoft let about 40000 hotmail accounts with passwords out, is that close enough?

i've always taken "i could care less" as being sarcastic. that said i've never heard anyone say it in real life so i really could care less.

how is it acting ethically for mastercard to collude with the RIAA to screw with a company that apparently isn't even breaking the law?
the excuse is that it's pretty much pointless to know, much like basic grammar or how to make a bomb from fertiliser.
