    The guy does the driving in the series, but I liked the first half of the pilot better than a good chunk of the series. They should have paired the girl up with the car and just ignored the guy.

    I installed vista with a retail dvd using the key on the bottom of my HP DV6000 series laptop, I had to call the number to activate windows, but it worked and was worth the 10mins spent calling them up.

    then how do you determine who owns the name? first product sold with a certain name? heres an idea, an on demand paperback book that is a dictionary called i where Word is any word, so an iApple would be a dictionary with the definition of Apple on the cover.

    Google does that summer of code thing, and they spend a fair amount of cash on it too.
    Also they're working towards having what they run on their servers be closer to stock by submitting the scheduler that gives even priority to all processes.

    Unless linking people to http://busybox.net/ can be proven to meet the requirements of "making available" I'd avoid using busybox for anything I plan to distribute. Hopefully they're not just suing for mirrors, asking would be less effort ;)

    I had a 486 laptop with 16mb of ram and a black and white LCD, I had good results with using pieces of slackware 10.1. If you want to save a lot of space, use strace and ldd to figure out exactly what files you need.

    Compile a custom kernel with everything you actually have built in except for cardbus/pcmcia modules.

    I'm in Richmond.Vancouver.bc.ca ;)
    I bought a USB DTV receiver on boxing day from futureshop, and had trouble with Global and KVOS, I cant get CTV at all. Hopefully this is due to the signals being low power right now. Otherwise in 2011 I'll be stuck with CBC and maybe "A Channel" in victoria if im lucky.
