>What's the point of this? You must not be a geek if you need to ever ask that. >You can already create RAM drives using the memory you have in your machine. You don't need a dedicated unit to do it. Yes you can, but can you plug those ram drives into a UPS and keep the contents between reboots? >Heck, I could create meagre RAM drives on my 640KB Amstrad PC1640 (8086). So?
>Why not just fit your PC out with 4GB of fast DDR RAM and do it that way? That memory would be far cheaper than this card. What if I want 4gigs of ram AND a ramdrive? I don't, one gig of ram is enough...
Personally I don't get why people always expect products to have a really necessary use;)
>that we are going to need Microsoft passport to make changes to DNS now? Is that a joke? a troll? is it a geniune thought? or are you using the "ask-a-question" shell script? Just curious;)
Well I'm sure people will just refil the old cartidges. Another direction this could go is equivalent to the AA battery. Have a fuel cell that works for both a laptop and a kill robot of destruction. or something
still stumped as to what an A size batter looks like...
if they didn't break the encryption, and all they did was take pictures and OCR it, is it still news? thats the digital equivalent of a photocopy.
I must be missing the punchline to this story...
>I wonder how long it will be until someone has figured out how to set up an 'illegal' P2P network to 'illegally' play your games online without paying?
I hope anyone who works towards that does it for fun/education, instead of trying to "stick it to the man". Zealotism can only go so far.
So wait a sec here, if you restrict people that can vote to people that can blow $400, will those people put thought into it? I don't think so, I think people that can throw $400 away will go vote randomly because they can.
bunkers spaced 50 miles apart with microwave towers isn't really economic, personally I think these things are a neat piece of history. Hopefully one is kept intact for boring little kids.
ya know, instead of using dimensions, you could, uhm, eyeball it
no, but it sure as heck matters!
I suspect theres been a long term performance problem with LCDs, probbly lost a whole 0.05 FPS so this mod indirectly increases cpu speed slightly?
*cough*DVD-Rom Drives spin*cough*

Hmm, I only see blurred out stuff when I'm- nevermind that. Whats with the blurring of your bookshelf?
Simple current source being the USB power itself?
My bloo mouse is a radioshack bloo led and a resistor hooked up to 5volts and ground.
Red Green and Yellow are close because its basically the same technology.

this post makes me think of that BSD is dying stuff ;o
;)
Minux is dying! Clearly you can see that because its users don't use X windows!
Just had to
probbly because while the servers can tell the difference of which side of the transatlantic border you're on, the website programming can't!

I gotta love slashdot, just before I decided to cave in and do homework, theres a post on slashdot involving downloading, irc AND encryption!
Why should MacOSX Users learn UNIX? The other review of this book I read said that that point wasn't covered.

Whats stopping them? thier code is probbly very very hodge podged, messy and confusing
I think they want to encode multiple streams on the same box from one audio source/device. I could be wrong of course.
