    Most local roads are not "gov't supplied infrastructure". The oldest roads, except some post roads, are horse paths that were eventually taken over and upgraded by the government. Most roads in subdivisions are built by the subdivision's general contractor and turned over to the government when the work is done.

    Many water systems were built by private companies. Some were eventually taken over by the government, others are still privately owned.

    A 1 Tbyte SDD sells for about $250. The flash IC's that are used in such a drive cost a total of $500 when bought in quantities of 1000. Even with huge quantity discounts, that doesn't leave much profit margin.

    The competing hard drive sells for $50.

    The idea that a 1 Tbyte SDD can be manufactured for 25% of $50 = $12.50 is beyond absurd.

    Assume a HDD uses 10 watts at $0.08 per kWh. That's $7.00 per year. Allow another $3.00 per year to cool the drive. If the drive needs to last 3 years, the HDD accounts for $30 of electricity over its lifetime. No large capacity SSD is within $30 of a hard drive.

    In one case a student was expelled and the administrator attempted to prevent the student from getting a degree at any other college. Had he been successful, the student would have been out tens of thousands of dollars and had his career damaged or destroyed, all for exercising his right to free speech. That is scary.

    Although male human lactation is rare, it does happen occasionally. It can be promoted with the hormone prolactin.

    There is an inverse correlation between female hormone levels and height (in women). High levels of female hormones also correlate with large breasts and other feminine physical characteristics. Assuming adequate nutrition, small women tend to look more feminine, hence more attractive.

    Also, some guys are intimidated by tall women.
