I'd just love for them to come out with the ultimate god game. You play it at first like sim planet, then you can zoom in and work with cities like a strategy game, then work it in so it's more of a RTS, then a RPG, then a game like the sims, then a FPS.
Of course, I wouldn't want to be on the Programming team for that... I might get smote!
What is the plot of it? If they release it, I want to know the original plot... Instead of having a potentially plot ruined disney braindead ultra-cut dub of it.
I knew that Disney owned Ghibli, and it annoys me to this day. Yes, they release a lot of anime, but they also keep a good portion away. Take "Inherit the wind," A Miziaki movie that looks awesome, (Like most of Miziaki's works.) From the looks of it, Disney isn't going to release it.
I buy my anime at conventions. It's cheaper that way, but sometimes you run into ridiculous prices that are just stupid so you kinda have to dl it.
Plus, I am a hell of a lot more likely to buy an anime that I pirated first to see if it was any good.
Also, using your logic, is buying anime off of e-bay a crime against the anime industry? I understand your debate (I did my Eng 103 final on P2P) but I believe that too many people say P2P should stop and you should buy anime so the RIAA won't shut down all the networks, but doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose? Maybe if the RIAA and the MPAA made a system that cost 10 bucks a month or so and allowed you to download all the movies, music, and everything else you wanted at good prices, then I'd consider actually working with the RIAA directly. And, they'd have to stop poisoning P2P networks and trying to pass all that nasty anti P2P legislation.
So much for downloading the rest of trigun! I can just tape it!
Excel saga has some innuendo that cartoon network (if they had it) might filter out it, which would ruin the whole feel of the anime. I wish they'd do oh my goddess, or go with NG-Eva.
Although, I won't miss the fourth season of Lexx, the third season was good. I feel a similar way about farscape... It used to be a lot better in the beginning. And when Stark was around.
Oh, the sandstorms... Yeah. The general just saw the Children of Dune trilogy on sci fi channel and has gone fremen on the Iraqis.
Still, I'm secretly hoping Bush is saying to himself, "Damn. They called my bluff." But I know that won't happen. People are gonna die in this one, a lot more than last time. World war 3, no, but there will be blood.
If Saddam drags this one into the streets, it could get really ugly. Less chance of chemical bombs, yes, but inner city combat... Children with AK 47s that they found off their father's bodies, women and children getting caught in the crossfire. Bloody ugly.
Or everybody might just surrendur, the oilfields will explode, and Saddam will enver be seen again, aside from really crappy home videos of the type Ossamma is STILL sending us. Whatever happened to him anyways? Why have we stopped caring about him? I hear people saying "remember 9-11, go to war with Iraq..." and then I think about it, and it's so stupid. Saddam and Bin Laden are different people with different goals. Both assholes, but they are not connected really. I remember 9-11, and I don't want to see innocents get killed over something that has nothing to do with it. Sure Saddam is a despot, but HOW MANY FRICKING DESPOTS ARE THERE CURRENTLY IN AFRICA COMMITTING GENOCIDE, MURDURER, AND SPAMMING TECHNIQUES?
"I used to work with a PC. Then I lost the election all because of a screw up with ballot countings. The vote counting computer in florida was running windows, and it crashed, and thus I lost. That's when I switched to mac, and I've been a happy man ever since."
Oh yes, everybody loves switching now. It's all about "I switched." Not only does apple lead the way as far as aesthetically pleasing design, it leads the way for sales ploys too.
Has anyone else noticed how many times they say "Switch from AOL... better features... no problems... etc." in the MSN ads?
Also, you don't see anyone making a bajillion spoofs of M$ ads... (I don't seem to remember m$ having any real ad campaigns, actually... Nothing like the most recent switch as well as some of the other great ads apple has given us.)
An actor who can pull off being a nerd as well as Toby... Hmm. Rick Morrannis? (sp.) Or maybe this is high time Bill Gates got his career in film started before he starts running for public office.
Hmm, in the year 2013, I want a macintosh bionic implant.
"Yeah, I was purely organic, and it was alright. I was weak though, and I needed rest. And then I switched, to Apple cyborging. Then and there I was benching 1000 lbs, I could run forever, and I could do any activities without error. The only feedback is I can't go out in the rain. But oh well, I never liked the rain anyways. And at least I don't get the blue screen of death flashing in front of my eyes like those windows cyborgs!"
Apple.com/switch
Farscape is the new star trek, imoho. The problem with Star trek... well, aside from Enterprise, is that it just kinda got old. I think what the future of it is gonna be fan made productions for trek. And... well, look at Farscape! Who knows, pretty soon all the really good sci fi's will be fan made! (Which might make them really bad)
The gun is an apple. It is pastel colors, and only has one type of ammunition which costs twice as much. It, however, does look really futuristic, sexy, and fashionable.
Well, if you consider horrible criminal acts to be terrorism, then sometimes the RIAA is terrorism...
Wait... we're talking about P2P... oh yeah...
The problem with the RIAA and the MPAA is by trying to stomp out P2P they are only making themselves look bad. P2P cannot die. If they use their own little P2P service that you have to pay for to its fullest extent and make it look good, all while leaving underground P2P alone, then they might be able to solve their problem. But trying to end P2P is like trying to kill Ben Kenobi. "I shall only grow stronger."
But then again, Disney and Dreamworks put forth anything *that* good or *that* original.
Spirited away had originality and a nice fuzzy feeling with it too, with a sense of wonder too.
And it's gonna change the way the critics view anime from now on, too. I wonder if maybe they'll do "Best anime film..." Nah...
Of course, I wouldn't want to be on the Programming team for that... I might get smote!
Some crackpots have theories that god plays videogames that we are characters in. If so, then now we get to see what his monitor looks like!
But what does the load screen look like then?
We're screwed. It's been nice chatting with all of you guys, you're great. See you all in hell, or heaven, or purgatory, if you're catholic.
Now all we need is to hear that jupiter has started to fall towards us.
What is the plot of it? If they release it, I want to know the original plot... Instead of having a potentially plot ruined disney braindead ultra-cut dub of it.
Correction, that was whisper of the heart. My bad. Inherit the wind is a play.
I like Lain because it mixes internet with with reality, and I could see how it would do well in silicon vally...
Me, I like to do both, dub, and then sub. That way I don't miss anything on the screen while I'm glancing at the subtitles.
Plus, I am a hell of a lot more likely to buy an anime that I pirated first to see if it was any good.

Will they ever stop?

It's sad to see yet another great show go.
Although, I won't miss the fourth season of Lexx, the third season was good. I feel a similar way about farscape... It used to be a lot better in the beginning. And when Stark was around.
Or otherwise, is he pretending to be dead and actually in hiding somewhere so we'll think we've won?
Still, I'm secretly hoping Bush is saying to himself, "Damn. They called my bluff." But I know that won't happen. People are gonna die in this one, a lot more than last time. World war 3, no, but there will be blood.

Grr.
Still, I can just imagine Gore in a switch ad.
"I used to work with a PC. Then I lost the election all because of a screw up with ballot countings. The vote counting computer in florida was running windows, and it crashed, and thus I lost. That's when I switched to mac, and I've been a happy man ever since."
"My name is Al Gore, and I AM president."
No pain no gain.
But it still hurts so damn much!
What I just don't get is why nobody's tried using a pillow or something. It's that fricking simple!
Has anyone else noticed how many times they say "Switch from AOL... better features... no problems... etc." in the MSN ads?

You know, this could all be some weird time dialation that makes it seem a lot quicker than it is...
The gun is a commadore 64. AKA a matchlock.
The gun is an apple. It is pastel colors, and only has one type of ammunition which costs twice as much. It, however, does look really futuristic, sexy, and fashionable.
This gun runs windows XP. Jams a lot, incompatable with Apple ammo, and regularly tries to update itself.

Remember Napster!
