This is interesting, I visited Google Reader site http://www.google.com/reader/view/ and the popup to allow use Google Gears showed up!!! It has a green icon with an arrow on it to go offline. Once clicked it starts downloading all the feeds for offline viewing. Looks like the purpose here is to provide all google apps with online/offline work mode.
why not?? Linden Research, Inc. itself and the users of second life are already making money out of other things happening in the virtual world... why not this then?
I think Apple was not particularly looking for GSM or CDMA technology as far as US is concerned. They are after the network providers with the most customer base and thus #1 Cingular and #2 Verizon.
I think the analysis is just one-sided, as all the passwords are coming from a phishing site. Thus coming from people who are not really internet savvy and that's why most of them have ridiculous passwords!!
It's interesting the appointment system used by Micro$oft recruiters (appointmentquest.com) is "100% pure Micrsoft(R) product-free environment" !!

They can simply just call it "Apple Phone" with Apple logo in front of the word "Phone", just like they did it for iTV to "Apple TV".
