I think you misunderstood my point. CO2 concentration changes throughout Earth's history are a result of temperature change, not the other way around.

    Interesting dodge.

So the only ones with the power and the WILL to NUKE are Christian fundamentalists?

I think that religious fundamentalism is wrong no matter what religion it is since fundamentalists typically don't give much creedance to anything other than their worldview. However, if it's about people with nukes and their will to use them that you feel are the threat then make it about that. Don't insert your own politically biased agenda into it please.

The problem in this case isn't a technical one per se. It is a classic failure in project management. We can talk all day about the technical merits of implementing it "this way" or "that way", but if they don't listen to the technical side for feasability and design then actually test our their design, then the PMO's projects will die a horrible flaming death (like the D.C. project has).

Sounds like their were critical failures in the interoperability and "testing" departments before go-live.

And as far as being a Jewish nation, given treatment of Jews through history (Obviously Holocaust, but also pograms in Russia, Inquisition in Spain, being inferior dhimmis in Arab lands, etc) the point of Israel is to create an outlet for discriminated Jews to go there.

OK, then I want my people (the physically disabled) to have a homeland in which we can be free of discrimination (except that we'll discriminate against the able-bodied, who we don't trust).

Seriously, though, there are plenty of places where it's safe to be Jewish other than Israel.

Where would you "ship" the Israelis if they shouldn't be in Israel?

I could also reverse the argument and say "Ther are lots of other safe places for the Palestinians other than "Palestine".

It would be nice if everyone "could get along" but I doubt that will happen in our lifetimes. :/

Where the line is drawn is subjective and made frankly by those living in the time period.

Personally, the only restriction I think there should be to voting is that they have to show proof of citizenship (i.e. ID). It's also asinine that you can actually vote more than once just because you go in and say you are Joe, then come back and say you are Bob, etc.
