my cousin does that...just for the hell if it and i couldnt agree more. He bought a new pc, spent probably $1000 US on it or better with 180gb of sttorage and a DVD burner...so he could *pirate* movies.
Most of which he just downloads so other people can re-download, so he can get the 3 or 4 a month hes actually going to watch.
Then, every couple of weeks, he deletes half of it and starts over; just to get a couple movies that arent on DVD yet.
All that money, so he didnt have to wait for LOTR to come on dvd....or spiderman 2...and so he wouldnt have to buy them when he did! nonsense!
I play L2 regularly: You can ebay "adena" (the games currecny" for somewhere around $30 US per Million Adena, and its done by many more people than would care to admit it.
The GMs in the game ban if they catche someone that looks like they are "buying adena" and ban "farmer bosses" (who control clans that play just to make adena) from time to time, though its rare.
Also, Lineage 2 does have 8 US servers. It was originally a Korean game, but has an english version out that follows the korean version closely in updates and each country has servers of its own. I think Japan also has its own L2 servers. China doesnt yet, and I believe chinese ips are banned from the other asian servers; so the US servers have a large number of Chinese and European players.
not trying to troll, but seriously...whats better? Ive played with linux a dozen times, differnt distros over the years. As a basic desktop, its getting there, but the hardware support is stil iffy.
As a gaming machine, a serious gaming machine, its useless. Theres a *few* mainstream great games that are made to run on linux natively, for a serious gamer like me, thats not good enough.
For day to day use its good, quite passable; but better overall? Probably not quite, and "better" is a matter of opinion. And yours and mine will differ still from a regular desktop user in a cubicle or a small office. For some people, windows is better, no matter what you like about linux. And for some, mac is better than either.
i may *rent* the new ones eventually for the hell of it. i liked some of the new changes in the released in 97, and i went to the theatres to see star wars in a theater...
but im not into seeing hayden christense; having bobas voice changed., or much else....nice that lucas gets to play Big Brother with his fantasy world; but its starting to get annoying.
no its so you can install windows twice and when you turn on the pc and it starts to load windows you can hit f8 and choose the option "no lets not use that one lets use the good one"
