    Planes aren't being hijacked because we stop the dreaded nail clipper from coming on board.

    The point isn't to stop nail clippers, its to stop people like this guy. If that means I have to give up my nail clippers, I really dont see the problem.

    He then added, "Unless of course if there are security problems such as worms, bad coding of included (and impossible to delete completely) software, and holes in the OS infrastructure.

    Don't have any specific links (someone will probably google this) but it mostly depends on what you are doing. Are you running a server or have a home network?

    Most of the time, Open Source will have a much TCO than a Windows or OSX machine, but it all depends on what you are using it for. Compatibility should also be taken into account.

    TKaM was 300-400 pages and spanned MAYBE a month. LOTR spanned almost 13 months, and was 1200+ pages. Not really a comparison, if you ask me.

    (4) A clarification of #2: Again, I am glad that he's taken care of. However, it is not America's place or anyone else's to say "I disagree with that X nation is doing, bomb them". If we have the right to bomb another nation to "free the people" then why doesn't China have the right to start WW3 with us in order to "free the poor American people from the totalarian fist of the Bush regime" or such other bollocks? Only if a nation has the power to pose a severe threat to neighboring nations or the world at large should drastic military action be taken against them.

    I really would like to comment but Bush is gassing my house at the moment. Yeah.

    What if they find your fingerprints at a crime scene, and a bullet fired from your gun? They ask where's the gun, and you say you got rid of it years ago, but have no evidence of its destruction and couldn't tell them where you threw it away.
