    How are you finding the performance? I have one too but not so happy with the performance. I'm just running tomcat and a few other services. I sort of assumed 1.2GHz ARM = 1.2GHz x86 -- it does not.

    I've been running OpenJDK on mine but I'm disappointed with the performance. It turns out that hotspot was written in assembly and hasn't been ported. They are working on something called Shark, built on LLVM, to overcome this issue.

    yes, I'm quite aware of your bountiful phone selection. strangely your british phones don't do anything for me. you get android phones first, we get cars for about half the cost. I guess it all evens out in the end.

    My iphone is going on ebay once I see an android phone come to market with decent hardware. My #1 gripe with the iphone is I can't develop apps and put them on just my phone, without paying 99/year. I'm just not interested in the app store. Android lets developers install apps on their phone for free. Though I suspect apple will loosen it's grip as android/pre/blackberry gain traction and maybe we'll see background apps and other features.

    so you're part of the 3% that doesn't have an existing cell phone? assuming you didn't break your contract, you're price is 99 + 24x(difference between current and new plan), which could be $99

    if we're talking about trucks, I don't think you can tow/haul with a non-diesel turbo engine. that would be why they are big naturally aspirated engines.
