  1. Former RIAA head on Hilary Rosen Gripes About iPod, iTMS · · Score: -1

And now a Democratic strategist. Handy how a site like Slashdot would miss that part. It's time for the country to disband the Democratic party. They are nothing but corporate shills for big entertainment and corporate lawfirms.

  2. debate? on U.S. National Identity Cards All But Law · · Score: -1

  4. NYT bad for its heavily tilted bias on New York Times Exploring how to Charge for Content · · Score: -1
And the paper admits it has a gross liberal bias. Of course, most liberals want that and would probably pay for it. The rest of us spit in disgust.

You have to read several sources, liberal and conservative, to get a good balanced view of the world.

  5. Parent post is exactly correct on White House: No Kerry Supporters at IATC Meeting · · Score: -1

I guess the IATC is going to have to cross the Marxist circle-jerk off of the meeting agenda.

  8. Re:Why do you expect the gov't to protect privacy? on Rosenzweig Now Chairman of DHS Privacy Board · · Score: -1
Sure, but republicans are supposedly advocating a lean and mean government with limited power

It would be a whole new stink if the republicans tried to eliminate the EPA, etc. So instead, they just put on board members that will do the least damage from their perspective.

  9. You don't get it on Should You Trust MAPS? · · Score: -1

There is no active prevention. RBLs are advisory only. They advise subscribers that your ISP has been spamming. The subscriber can do what they wish with that information. And don't give that bullshit about you personally not being a spammer. The advisory isn't against you. It is against your ISP. Your nuisance lawsuit will get tossed like thousands of other unfounded cases each year. Don't think that the RBL's attorneys haven't already dealt (and won) against hundreds of little pricks like you.

  10. Step 0 - Make good music on Online Business Model for a Band? · · Score: -1

If you want credit as a band, it is less about the features on your website and more about your music. It needs to be polished and profesionally mastered. A lot of groups pride themselves on being "indie." The problem with is that they can't record a song to save their lives. Most musicians are masters of their instrument, not cubase, protools, etc.

  11. Re:Fantasy and reality on Senator Clinton Slams GTA · · Score: -1
Either way calling a right-wing Democrat like (either) Clinton a "socialist" reveals that you conservatives truly don't know what the word means.

Calling Clinton, who wanted to convert health care into a state run industry right-wing reveals how you left-wingers are out of touch with reality. You've got to be a total idiot or propagandist if you believe what Clinton says when her actions and votes prove her true extreme leftwing roots.

Perhaps it would in a utopian world. The problem is that "greens" have made it practically imposible to build any new power plants. Just look at what California goes through.

  24. Differenciate Dean from the party on Governer Dean Becomes Chair of DNC · · Score: -1

Just because Dean supports the death penalty, don't think that the Democratic party will support it. In fact, the opposite usually happens.

Harry Reid is an example of a regular Democrat who was recently moved into a position of power. Guess Reid's position on social security:

Option 1: "If someone wants to privatize Social Security, they are going to have to find someone else to get in bed with other than me!"

Option 2: "Most of us have no problem with taking a small amount of the Social Security proceeds and putting it into the private sector."
