I recently moved out of the city area to live in a cleaner part of town. This has made my commutes to work longer. The radio reception sucks out by my house. Sirius is becoming an attractive option. The programming variety looks awesome!

Judging by the low comment activity on this story (only 7 comments after a few hours?? WTF??), I think it is safe to say that we no longer care about e-voting. Please go back to pushing the liberal slashdot agenda.

    Thanks.

It is painful for me to look at GNOME apps. There is too much space around the widgets. Just look at the first screenshot and the dead space around the icons in the toolbar and the text on the menubar. Sadly, I wish this was an area where they would copy from Microsoft.

Why did they need to pull a fraud to prop up their argument?

Obviously the truth isn't on the rabid anti-Bush side as much as these fervent liberals think it is. Luckily the general public can see through these left-wing media tricks.

Ok, so CBS is a fraud. But even though GWB was HONORABLY discharged, the faudulent info is still true!

I'm sure that your commentary is a tremendous comfort for those among us who have dedicated most of their lives to working with computers, only to be laid off and become cab drivers.

These people don't need comfort, they need a kick in the ass. If they spent their entire life working with computers and still aren't good enough to get a job, they a) aren't very good with computers or b) have some other defect. That other defect usually revolves around hygene and social skills -- both of which are important outside of your mom's basement.

The fact is, only 20% of the country is like that. In other words, 4 out of 5 people live peacefully, free of an evil dictator. I'd surely prefer this 80% area. And if for some reason I couldn't get to those areas, I'd do my best to improve my surroundings. Because if little boys like Steve-O can do it, grown men should as well.

Of course someone can look at the NYT article thru google cache or post to /. anon and hope someone is reading below the default level. Do you want the day to come when this is true for every site on the net?
