A flop to the writer is a product that had more hype than users. For example, he notes that DAT is used in pro arenas only and that OS/2 has a user base but one that has never reached the hype it had...
The article states they Apple will charge for the final version of Bootcamp on Tiger (10.4) only. Leopard, 10.5, will have Bootcamp as part of the features built in. They simply want to give users an incentive to upgrade to Leopard. Anyone with a computer that can run Bootcamp has a computer that can be upgraded to Leopard. $30 for Bootcamp or ~$100 for Leopard (depending on where you buy it).
From reading your comment, I doubt you have used Bootcamp. It is what you described above AND MORE. They also provide drivers on the Windows side. The eject button works in Windows, The Windows key is remapped to the Apple key, which resides in a different place ( option and Apple keys are in different spots when compared to option and Windows keys). Bluetooth works well "out of the box" due to Apple drivers. There are several other things, too. Bootcamp makes Windows feel more Mac-like, it does not just help my computer boot into Windows.
I did Politics as my undergrad and there was no reason to cheat. Honestly, Politics is simply means to learning how to craft bullshit and argue and justify anything. Pretty hard to cheat when it is hard to get an answer wrong. As for MBA students, of which I am one, many do cheat or cross the boundaries with group thinks, etc.
Hitler did not have video games. Neither did Ghengis Khan or Alexander the Great. It is up to the parents to raise their children properly. Kids are a product of their whole environment, not just video games.
I have only used one D-Link router for daily access. It has wireless encryption setup and runs great. It is at my mom's house with no problems over the last two years. I also recommended two friends get a D-link, helped set it up for them and have never heard of them having any problems. Linksys routers on the other hand...
My machine can run both OS 9 and OS 10.1+. OS 9 is not faster. Why? I have dual processors, which OS9 does not use very well, or I should say, much at all. OS 9 is dog slow compared to 10.2 and up.
Any private organization should be able to whatever they want, or not do whatever they want, as far as accessibility to customers go. As for government, they have to be accessible to all and by all.
It seems to me that Malthus will always be relevant in this respect. We have to have a way of limiting our population growth or nature will do it for us.
There is no controller more comfortable or better suited for playing games than a SNES controller. Any game that needs more buttons is not fun to me. Also, any game that has more buttons is bigger and bulkier = not worth my time.
Time travel is not possible. Time moves forward for all of us. You cannot go back forward. You can go forward at different speeds though, so if you find a way to experience time slower or faster than everyone else, then you can 'time travel' in a comparative sense.

Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms [of government] those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.
Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have... The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases.
The 3do was $700 US when it wa first launched. Adjusted for inflation, it has an even higher price. From Answeres.com, "the 3DO console itself was priced at $700." - http://www.answers.com/topic/the-3do-company-1/
50+ mpg cars come mostly in the form of diesels. Car manufacturers have to meet California's strict pollution controls to sell in California, the world's sixth largest economy. What does this mean? Diesels are hard to make California compliant and selling a different car in California than the rest of the USA is not the best way of doing things econimically. What does this mean? Diesiels do not give off as clean air as their petrol counterparts. To get better mpg means trade-offs somewhere. Power, cost, pollution, etc.
As long as you buy from a reputable company like Belkin, Monster, or NXG, you will be happy. If your ears or mind cannot tell the difference, then do not feel like you need to pay a premium. I would suggest buying NXG because I have had an excellent experience with them for optical audio and component video. The things to take away from discussion are you probably do not want to use any cables that may come with your receiever/tv/etc unless you bought top of the line.

Or as part of the 10.5.5 release. They need not wait until 10.6

Since we are animals, no matter what we do, if evolution can be predicted, we should be included in theory, and not be an exception.

This is economics 101. Free markets work in all but utilities.

Don't you mean global climate change?

Humans kill each other all the time, either in a warlike or prenatal state, life on other planets will not be a true consideration.

A lot of our population works for the government. Many do not care for politics or to vote. I would call that some form of slavery.

In all seriousness, it depends on which company you are talking about. I know someone who worked on small parts of the film in IRIX.

Your gonna have to shell out money to pay for marketing research.
