Repairing permissions and repairing the hard drive are two different functions. Permissions should be repaired before and after any program is installed. Hard drives need to be repaired less often.
Ever hear of labor unions? It was economic policy that caused all the minorities to support democrats. Its true the republicans freed the slaves, but that was social policy in the 1860s. Labor union support allowed the democratic party to grow in the 1950s and still grows. This is why the republicans need the religious right vote: To counter balance the union labor vote.
We call the US America, when in fact we are apart of America. See what I am getting at? If not, just because you label something, that label does not make it so. The US has become known as America and as a democracy, when in fact they are not fully so, just as your country is not fully democratic.
I do not vote direcctly for the president. I vote for people who then vote for the president. This is the main factor making it a republic. When I directly vote for the president, then the democracy/republic line will be less important.
Batteries are not infinitely rechargable. What about the externalities caused by the waste of batteries? What you call efficient thinking, I call wasteful.
The BriQ is what you need. "The same form-factor as a CD-ROM drive, the briQ provides an advanced, energy efficient (just 20-40 Watts) and affordable solution for embedded solutions. Need an in-dash MP3 player? Need two computers in the space of one? Slide a briQ into the expansion bay of your x86 or Macintosh computer! " It has linux pre-installed.
I use Fire. I do not like iChat yet. It grows on me, but it hasn't won me over yet, maybe in 10.4. From their website: "Fire is a free Instant Messaging Client for Mac OS X which supports all of the most popular Instant Messaging services in one easy-to-use application: AIM, ICQ, irc, Jabber, MSN, and Yahoo! Messenger."
Ram Doubler and Speed Doubler worked beautifully but became unnecessary after OS 9 was released. Surf Doubler worked well also. I never tried crashgaurd. Once OS 9 came out with more PPC code, Connectix products for speed became obsolete.
Cut back on caffiene and late night snacks and exercise 4-5 times a week. The more the better. Since doing this I have found I sleep better and sleep less while I wake up more refreshed in the mornings. Also I am drugs for depression and anxiety. These have helped in my quest for a better healthier life.
Nintendo Entertainment System
Super Nintendo Entertainment System
Nintendo 64
Nintendo GameCube (different media, natch)
Sega CD
Sega Saturn
Sega Dreamcast
Sega no longer sells sytems and Nintendo is headed in the same direction (unlees they have a miracle in the works), software only. Sega and Nintendo lost to Sony which coincidently kept their previous gaming market by having backwards compatability.
You are correct in saying saying advanced degrees =! coding ability (or guarantee any actual job skills that someone without a degree might not have). But having a degree will not hurt in most cases. A degree shows that you can put time into and finish tasks. It shows you can be in it for the long hual. Second of all, PhDs at Google may be researching the feasability and profit of what you are coding. They figure out what needs to be done, while coders figure out to make it happen.
comes from trying to support two architectures. Microsoft tried it with NT (x86, alpha, PPC) and they failed as well. I hate to say this because I used to use, and still occaisionally do, BeOS on the PPC platform. If they had started out with x86 and focused on it instead of PPC, they would have had a better chance. With PPC they could have supported the G3 and G4 but they were afraid of Apple and refused to do it without their consent.
My thoughts exactly before I opened the forums. There are too many dual income families and no one has time to raise our future generations.
You offer no explanation as to why, so your post seems pointless to me.
As always, use Disk Utility to repair permissions before and after you update. This avoids most problems.
Repairing permissions and repairing the hard drive are two different functions. Permissions should be repaired before and after any program is installed. Hard drives need to be repaired less often.
Always remember to repair permissions first via Disk Utility. And the hard drive, if you have time.
This article will just encourage people to make a living spamming with that much potential money.
As a Libertarian I agree with your solution.
True, but I said discounts. Apple gives discounts to all students Devs on software and hardware.
But there is no discount for student developers that I can find.

I spoke nothing ill of a republic. I simply said that their is a difference. What got your panties in a bunch?
I said nothing about freedom. I am very free within this republic. I am lucky to be this free. However I am not free within a democracy.

"The United States is known as being the world's most stable democracy."
We are not a democracy. We are a very democratic republic. This is a very important point that many people misunderstand.

Its different when you charge for your product. As did BeOS and Microsoft.
