    A sex offender is anyone who has commited a crime of a sexual nature. ie, A 16 year old guy having sex with his 15 year old girlfriend, a 20 year old male couple having anal sex. Both are sex offenders.

    Wrong actualty, the reason you find it difucult is because you are used to the windows way of doing things. In reality all you need do is select the link, activate the browser window, and press the middle button. There is no need to erase the current url, or to even select the text in the url box.

    Simple as.

    I think you have missed the point, they would indeed remove the ambient heat, which would lower the surounding temp of the arm, which would again lead to more heatloss, so the grandparent was indeed correct.

    Actualty, although most respectable film/tv program makers ask for permossion to show your face etc, if they are in a public place there is no legal responcability for them to do so.

    I assume you are refering to the fact that if the poilce dont know who was drving the car then they dont know whos licence to put the points on and therefore give out no points?

    Well, i'm assuming that the police got sick of this, because i know several people who have tried to use this excuse, and the polices responce is that since the car is registerd in your name, you are legaly responcible, and hence, you get the points.

    When i used to buy lego sets, each one used to come with a little booklet which listed almost all the individual lego pieces, from the small blocks, to the elecetric motors, technic lego bits, lights, everything.. Do they still do that?

    OK, simple fact here, when you boil water for your coffe, it boils, to 100C which is about 210F, is it not? It cools down eventualy, as would the macdonalds coffee, the simple fact is thought, coffee is hot.

    SCO is not claiming that they wrote linux, or even have the rights to all of it.

    What they do claim is that they own the copyrights to PARTS of the linux code, it is these parts that they are offering people a licence for.

    Whether they wimped out or not, you have to give it to them. They managed to abide by the copyright holders wishes, avoid a potential lawsuit, and still let people get hold of the links they may want (through reading the complaint). Wheather they wimped out or not, they were very clever about it.

    RH9, I assume its a gnome thing tho, when you put a blank cd in the drive, a window pops up (a normal Nautilus window), you drag and drop, then click (suprisingly enough) burn. No more dificult than XP or OSX.

    Actually I would guess that the diamonds used in computing would be artificialy created to avoid flaws, and so they would be cheap as chips (excuse the pun), as the only reasons diamond prices are so high is because they are artificialy kept that way with limited supply.
