    For even $50 can you get a decent case?

    I mean aluminum not steel, and no sharp edges, at least full ATX. I last bought one 14 years ago and it cost about $50 then.

    You can get 1Gb links in damn near every city in the USA, provided you are willing to pay.

    Agave nectar is just sugar.

    Stevia that tastes nasty has been produced poorly. The cargill stuff is pretty good, also it is generally mixed with erythritol ror xylitol. You can get it pure in liquid form I think.

    So you have never heard of webservers?
    DNS? NTP? FTP?

    All of those are commonly run on Linux. Businesses are not natural mono-cultures. Lots of businesses use many different computing systems and it has been that way since there were computing systems.

    Which due to rarity will be far better than the current situation. They will also get immediate treatment and not sent back out to get another concussion.

    All you are proving is that no one should be buying these.

    It is not idealism to expect a sold product to have been sold. That is how things have worked for my whole life. Even my current smartphone, but I made sure to buy one I could own.

    Chances are your employer does not do that. It is such a huge legal minefield most avoid it. The last thing I need is someone claiming that my proxy server was used to steal their bank details.

    Your ISP cannot decrypt SSL traffic.
    Not everyone lives in a third world nation and surely they should be able to opt out of this.

    This sort of language that makes it sound as though the OEM is the owner not the purchaser needs to stop.

    A good presentation sure is. 99% of Powerpoint is bad presentations though.

    Being worried about the exact spot a graphic is in makes me think you want to create bad presentations.

    Powerpoint is #1 because it lets you turn 5 minutes of information into an hour long lecture with useless graphics and animations.

    No matter make nor model nor OS, there is already a nice presentation system that works with all of them. You are using a version of it now. Making a simple website that replaces power point should be something any professor can handle.

    During the 80s and 90s that sort of computer power was barely possible to create. The money DARPA spent on those automated vehicles and other projects for AI and computer vision are why later competitions could even be held.

    It was linux and I don't remember what instructions I used.

    There are now commercial products that run on linux that make this brain dead easy. They are pretty great for libraries, schools and charities.

    So they got rid of them as a cost saving measure?

    They could solve this problem, but it would require sick leave and a pay level higher than minimum wage. Why would someone worry about keeping a job that pays that little? Not like there is any risk of not finding another one.

    You plan on testing every corpse?

    Odds are the cause of death on the certificate will be organ failure, pneumonia, or something like that. This makes it very hard to track those numbers.
