About freedom of speech in France

In France there is freedom of speech. Quite similar to the US, even if we do not have first amendment. By practical means, you can say whatever you want. But you simply must be prepared to face the consequences :
    - If you libel (or insult) : you can be sued for damages to reputation
    - If you lie (can get in trouble with anti-fraud laws)
    - If you incite to hate or violence

Generally, if you are able to back what you say with facts, nobody can stop you from saying what you want.

When it comes to publishing and freedom of the press, it may be a different matter, but because press belongs to publishing groups and is subject to power manipulations, not because there is true lack of freedom.

When you click on the link you go to the current version of the page which may be different from what google remembers of it.
Have you tried clicking on the link for the cached version of the page instead ?

At most, the log (if they are stupid enough and have enough storage to log everything that is going to hit their SMTP port) will show the sender and adressee of the failed mail attempt - nothing more

  9. Re:No more Pringles? on Implementing WiFi in the Real World · · Score: 0

Actually, Pringles sold in most european countries (cannot tell for all) are sold in cardboard tube-like boxes.
    Not METAL boxes, CARDBOARD !!
That's why other antenna designs have been developped here, making use of various Nestle tin boxes (Nescafe, Caro, Powder chocolate, ...). These boxes all have the same size, so the choice depends more on what your tastes are for breakfast beverages (or alternatively which color you like best) :)

Open question : did the scots / irish start developping antenna designs based on whisky bottle tubes (you know, the metal ones in which the whisky bottles from famous & old distilleries are sold) ?
That would be a true technological use of local products.

The company was french-based wappup.com (now www.wappup.it), and they had each month a new made-up user story to promote their crap service. But some people recognised where the "models" used for illustrating the articlescame from : They were cropped porn photographs taken from magazines.
