AFAIK Intel is not dropping support for RDRAM. On their latest roadmaps, RDRAM is still in there into 2004. This was a couple months ago and took most people by surprise since everyone thought Intel was done with RDRAM.
The people that are driving this industry forward right now is the game community, which can always use the extra power of a faster CPU. Games are some of the most demanding programs (on desktops at least), and when you're playing a game, the CPU is being used to its fullest. And a 4Ghz CPU would make a big difference for a gamer.
I'm pretty sure the people smart enough to find the demo know perfectly well it isn't complete, optimized, finalized. So don't freak out. There's some stuff that I don't like on this demo, like the control scheme, yet I know I'll be able to change it when the game comes out. If anything, this leak just made me want to buy the game even more when it comes out.
Yes, I am from Brazil and we do have cars that use alcohol as fuel. We had them for a long time now. These cars, while much cleaner, do waste a lot of fuel quick. However, alcohol (sold on gas stations) is cheaper than gasoline, but gasoline is still a better value. Ipanema is also the name of a car in Brazil, and it's named after Ipanema, which is an area in Rio De Janeiro. I don't, however, recall if it is a model that uses alcohol as fuel.
Chris Rock said it best "What happened to 'crazy?' What, you can't be crazy no more?"
But does it play Quake 3 in smooth 300fps?
Monster.com is still kicking around, and apparently they're expanding to include all types of jobs. ad link
