A lot of people make a lot of money on internet gambling sites without breaking a single law. The people who play online poker suck so bad compared to professional poker players that it is like printing money for anyone who plays the game seriously. I suck which is why I don't play, but a lot of people are willing to give up there hard earned money to a redneck who has played poker since before he could write. It may not get you $3M, but they won't have to work anymore, and they don't get put in FPMA prison.
If a company does not want to sell a laptop without Windows or they made an agreement with MS to not sell non-Windows laptop that is there decision. Just go to another place that fits your needs. That is the beauty of the free market. Nobody forces you to buy anything, so you shouldn't be able to force anyone to sell anything.
The typical MS basher will go on and on about how good Linux is. Then they will say that MS is a monopoly. That would be like me saying that Intel has a monopoly while writing this on a computer with an AMD chip. How many Unix based OSes are there? How many distrobutions of Unix based OSes are there? They aren't a monopoly! There are lots of choices. A company shouldn't be penalized for being successful just because a bunch of slashdotters need someone to hate.
Our extensive research has found that the majority of people like things that work and do not destroy their property if used in a normal manner. Hillary Rosen was reached for comment saying, "These results are flawed. Our focus groups have stated that they enjoy the crippled CDs... at least more than having their pubic hairs pulled out one by one."
How will we do without blogs?

Blogs are the next coming of geocities. They clutter the internet with useless information. I have a blog, but I only use it to say things like, "Fdisk overflowed when I tried to format my hard drive. Now it is negative 15 Gigs!" So yeah, I need to be shot.
Getting a bill even considered for voting is extremely difficult. A setback this earlier is probably a death sentence. If money is greasing the wheels it can only grease so much.
I can't keep track of $.10 BICs I wouldn't want to think about losing a $200 pen. It would be sweet for taking notes though as long as there was good handwriting recognition software to use with it.
...always working against public interest! Oh... wait...
Plus thanks to Michael for posting an inflammatory and inaccurate subject. "The government is going to outlaw the GPF! All copies of Linux will be confiscated!"
I hope a few of those people who pay $400 for the latest and greatest video card and $15 for a power supply read this.

I hope it works, but it would take a lot of dedication on their part. I would consider moving to the selected state after the plan is already underway.
We can have a Quebec in the US!
There will always be wires. If you think it is bad tripping over a power cable, just try getting your insides cooked by a high power microwave transmitter.
Soft-core porn games aren't. I guess you Europeans can have fun playing BMX XXX, but you will still be under the thumb of an oppressive government. I hope it is worth it!
I was like... you know... posting a flame on slashdot while logged in... and then beep... and I was modded to -1... so nobody could see my post.
So now I log in as an AC... because mods don't want to waste their points on me.
AC Swith.

I would give you such a wedgie for using the term "Microsoft apologist".

This seems similar to weapons dealers who sell weapons to both sides. Unfortunately they are selling bigger weapons to the baddies.

That is according to Logitech.

I guess they had to reveal it since it had already been spotted.

A full GHz behind Intel? Do you judge cars based solely on peak RPM?
Woop woop. If I wasn't a newbie, and had some mod-points they would be all yours.
