I don't know what your talking about. I hate top 40. Sirius has "Sirius Disorder," which might be the best radio station ever to exist. They play ANYTHING. They give their DJs on that station total control. One song might be REM, the next, opera.
I hope they don't get rid of any of the superior Sirius programming. We don't need another merger like G4/TechTV (though I know, its not to that extreme).
I think you've got your facts off a little bit. The 100,000 number was not Howerd Zinn's and it was not released on the daily show. It was a number put out by the british medical journal, the lancet. Some people think it is too high, others don't. I'm not quite sure how you can say the white house released the "real" number. I highly doubt that they even know that number, since they have not done body counts since the vietnam war (for obvious reasons). I wouldn't trust any number they put out anyway. Now what happened on the Daily Show was, a couple weeks ago when Howard Zinn was on, he said something along the lines of "200,000 people have been killed...no I'm exagerating, it was 100,000."
I'm with you to an extent, but, 150,000 is certainly not the accepted number. As much as I like Howard Zinn, don't do what he did on the Daily Show and give such a high number you lose your credablity. The Lancet said 100,000, and that is the highest estimate out there. Many people believe it is probobly less than that.
No, first of all, there is no need for cause outside of the universe, since outside of the universe there would be no physical laws. Second, there is nothing perticularly special about the "first cause." Really the big bang is still happening. If the big bang was a splattering of paint on a wall, the universe is still dripping. It is still going on. So if you want to look for divinity, you can look for it within the universe.

Until a month ago, one of my harddrives was the only remaining part from my computer that I originally built 5 years ago. I have replaced all of the other parts. Finally a month ago I got another 250gb drive and took out my IBM 30gb only because I didn't have room for it anymore.

The basic theory of libertarian socialism as aposed to anarcho-capitalism (like the libertarian party) is that not only should people be free from government control but also from economic coersion, which allows employers to exploit their employees. From the first couple paragraphs of his article that I read, he was not so much being a bigot as just a religious zealot stating falsehoods. I didn't read the whole thing though so I don't know for sure. I still think he's a great author.

I disagree with you on this point but even if this were true, what would be so horrible about the small minority of people who are gay get married? Heterosexuals could still get married and have kids. This wouldn't affect that at all. I just don't see what the problem is.
